Playing at Pilot Knob BLM LTVA CA

After all the moving from rig to rig I needed a break so went into the desert to test out the new RV. Stayed, left, and returned several times over several months at Pilot Knob. Not the quietest place near interstate, train and flyovers. But lots of pretty rocks, wildflowers and plenty of colorful sunsets. What better place than the Center of the World, Felicity CA. www.historying... Looks rather interesting. Let me know if you think I should visit.
Pilot Knob is a peak of 876 feet in elevation rising from the 285 foot desert in Imperial County CA. Its a volcanic plug that is part of the Cargo Muchacho Mts. Named for its prominence as a landmark for riverboat traffic seen from the Colorado River in the late 1800s.
