Ep 3 Srinagar to Sonamarg & back | Kashmir Tourism

- In this episode you will see our journey from Srinagar to Sonamarg, It takes about two and a half hour one way journey to Sonamarg and same time to come back.
In the last episode you saw the activities that we did during the journey of Srinagar to Doodhpathri.
This video was shot on 19th April 2023, below are the activities we did throughout the day.
Waterfall Restaurant: This restaurant is near Sind river side. We had breakfast here, landmark for this restaurant is WYL bridge.
Aloo Paratha Rs 60
After this we continued our journey towards Sonamarg which is about 80 km away from Srinagar.
In between we see the Z Morh Tunnel which leads to Sonamarg. Tunnel work is still under construction, expected to complete by end of 2023.
Sonamarg: It is a hill station located in the Ganderbal District of Jammu and Kashmir, India. This is also a great base camp for Ladakh. We did snowboarding here.
People used to trek from Sonamarg Kashmir Great Lake, Naranaag and Pahalgam. Best time to visit Sonamarg is June, July and August. We had a great time at Sonamarg.
Hotel Sonamarg Palace: We had lunch here.

They also provide rooms too.
Tariff Rs 4000 for double occupancy including breakfast.
We reached Srinagar at night and had dinner at Pushpa Restaurant

JKTDC property - I have not visited JKTDC property at Sonamarg but i am told that JKTDC has good property here.

Its beautiful ❤I was there on august full of sunshine awesome i was stayed there 4 days for to enjoy sonmarg's beautiful nature ..as I live in usa thus not fond of snow at all 😊..but love to watch that u r enjoying snow a lot ..❤look at u on the snow 😊..u should make a snow man 😊..wear a scarf otherwise u will get a sore throat 😮

Baliji, Awesome Videos. Very informative episodes All of Them. I had been to Kashmir last year. I had kept my base at Srinagar and stayed at Pahalgam for 1 night. I did my booking through Kashmir Travels Very easy And Kashmir is really Heaven on Earth.
Apke saath hum log bhi virtually ghum aur food enjoy kar lete hai thank you 🙏 local shops and items ko bhi thoda details me dikhaiye. Sonmarg me night stay karna tha, morning view dekhne ko mil jata.
Aapki shakaal Mr. Bean se milti hai dekh kar bada relax mahsus hota hai
