Why ? he is a complete arse. I met them at the after show party in Bremen in 2002 and Brian was a real laugh and was going on about how Limp Biskit had brought rottweilers backstage at some festival, Stefan was quite friendly, but Hewitt was just playing the big star as if speaking to any of us normal people was utterly beneath him, which is ironic I thought.

Me i started listening Placebo when i was 12 13 with the album Without you i'm nothing , they have a bit dark but purely rock , and a Powerful Atmosphère, the sizzling sound with a lot harmonics give impact to their Music , at the Time , we're either placebo or Muse , me it was Placebo all the way waking up in my teenager's room lol , My Parents were freaking out 😄🤘 i would love them until thé end that's for sure !! , The live us Amazing and for it's the one

I remember buying this DVD in France in 2003. It didn't work on my Region 1 DVD player back in Canada but it DID work on my Playstation 2. I watched it until the disc nearly broke and turned three of my closest friends into Placebo fans. It's crazy to see this same performance on TH-cam 13 years later while experiencing it with all of you :)
I bought this DVD in Merida (mexico) downtown for like 3 us dlls back in 2005. Watch, loved it so much my wife got in to placebo and it was so cheap that i got a copy for all of my friends that like Placebo. We gather every so often and we watch it not long ago.... so many good memories and it's amazing.
my daughter was 11 when she got into placebo she is now 30 and guess who is still into tem me not her she has moved on to music I hate pop stars with voice overs no one can sing or copy Brians voice he is one of a kind

Now this is the Placebo I grew up with!!! No violin, half an orchestra or 2 million keyboards, just pure raw guitar, bass and drums! Not to mention Brian, Stefan and Steve Hewitt as the line-up

Territorial Adaptation definitely one of their best setlists, just watched a 2016 concert and I was like wtf is this....hardly any of thier good songs. Shame they dont play Nancy Boy more often, probably sick of it though tbh. Nice to see This Picture been played aswel.

I love this Placebo concert in Paris 2003 💙💙💙💙The opener Bullet Proof gets people in a good mood right away followed by Allergic and Every You Every Me and other many great songs. One of Placebo's greatest live concerts for me! The hall is great and so are the fans. Brian is so charming here

Their albums were magic, but their live performances made Placebo my favorite band.
The first time that I've seen this movie was in my childhood. I always remember that day I was impressed for this perfomance. Now, in my twenties it reminds when I was so happy to told my friends about this movie, and they didn't like it, but I continue listen to Placebo. I grew up with you guys. All of you are a part of my life, I became older with this music. This concert represent a door to you. I'm truly happy to exist in the same reality. Thank you so much! xoxo

saw them in 1999 in Auckland NZ, never heard of them before and went out of boredom, i have never viewed music of any kind the same way after that concert

This, to me, was Placebo's height. I have this DVD kicking around somewhere. I saw Placebo in Cleveland in 2006, and then Toronto in 2007. Sleeping with Ghosts and Meds eras mean a lot to me; unfortunately age and time have taken the band in a direction that does not speak to me as this does.
I ve seen them one week ago in one of the 20 years anniversary concert. they played 5 (!) songs from their first album. I have never listened to loud like love but this concert showed me that their are still the placebo I liked. but I agree that Battle for sun was a switch that I didn't enjoyed that much and loud like love is an album for another generation. but still ... listen to them after some years of break was awesome. and they playes also Lazarus! Lazarus ... didn't have any expectations that I would ever listen to this song in a concert.
I was at that show in Cleveland as well, was amazing. Only been able to see them 2 times in the USA. Black Market Music is my favorite album of all time, but Sleeping with Ghosts is one of their best as well. It is sad to say, but stopping drugs and letting Steve go was a turning point in their music, and it has not been even 10% as good as it was 95-08

Hi. I have this DVD kicking too. I watched it several times. Unfortunately, I have to disagree with you. Without You I'm Nothing, Black Market Music, and Sleeping with Ghosts are their best albums. The others ones are not bad, but not like these. However, I really don't like this last one in 2022. For sure, the worst Placebo album. Albums like Meds and Loud Like Love are good as well. Never liked the Battle for the Sun.
@@Music-fi7ti I said the eras meant a lot to me. The albums that are their best musically (personal opinion) are the ones you listed, hence why this was the concert I said was their height.

Always heard Pure Morning in the 90's never knew who the band was until i finally heard it on the 90's radio station on my phone and seen who it was. How did i miss this band they are great! God the 90's were the best!

Muse and Placebo are the ones I want to listen to till I can breathe. No other band proved to be so skilled and even the sound they supply is a bliss, I got used to them easily and I might never deny my fondness towards them, there's no chance to take me far from these guys, I got spellbound and impressed. Before knowing them I was one of the commercial listeners, the ones whose pleasure is restricted, they overlook the quality and the merit over the alternative scene, it's when you catch this dedication you make your life change and there's no way out. I love dressing in a modern key, indeed I love putting on some t-shirts with the names of my favourite ones, you have to follow my advice: do it! Don' be embarrassed of showing up your clear mark, carve their name into your suit!!!!
2023, went to 3 concerts since I was 18 (I'm 36 now) And Placebo's still my fav band 🖤
