Samsung Galaxy Tab S - Backcountry Navigator Pro - The Best GPS for Off Trail?
I recently set us a Samsung Galaxy Tab S to use as my GPS unit for my backwoods hiking, bushcraft, exploring, survival skills, etc. The Galaxy Tab S has a legit GPS receiver chip in it so it works without any connectivity. It has the advantage of providing a much larger screen map viewing area than any of the single purpose GPS units out there. It also has the advantage to me of also being able to take pictures and video.
