Hi both…I’m so sorry to hear that Ian has had to hang up his boots so very early and I cannot begin to imagine how difficult a decision that would have been to make. But it is the right decision and a brave one. I have been an avid viewer here from day one and have always thought that you have a winning formula with content which is honest, natural and thoroughly engaging…many other content creators strive and fail to strike the balance which seems to come so naturally to you. Thank you so much for keeping us entertained and if you can ever find a way to continue with or without the bikes you are guaranteed a subscriber here. Hope you have as good a Christmas and New year as you possibly can and take some comfort in the fact that you’ve brought much happiness to many through your efforts…..and that is priceless ❤ All the best to you both, Dave
Ian's health has really taken a battering lately and his frustration and disappointments are there for us all to see. I sincerely hope that one day soon he might actually feel like taking a spanner to one of his bikes and - who knows? - even take it for a gentle spin. Whatever, thank you very much, Sue, for being such an important part of the team and for keeping us informed of Ian's progress. His health is all that really matters now so please pass on our very best wishes for an improvement in that area. Here's wishing you both a peaceful Xmas and a healthier and happier 2025 and beyond. Keith (UK)
This channel has been like a breath of fresh air-learned so much about motorbikes and Bulgaria.Your health and wellbeing comes first and all your energy should be concentrated on that. All the best for the future🏴.
Sad news indeed that Ian’s health issues have caused so many problems. The effort that you have both put into your videos has been greatly appreciated and will be sorely missed. Ian’s health ha to come first but it’s such a shame that he has to give up something that he has clearly enjoyed and has been such a large part of his life. Wishing you both all the best and a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
Hey Sue, Ian. I'd like to spend the time to compose an intelligent comment but I'm too angry for you. That's just a bloody cruel blow. I hope with all my heart that a solution can be found that will lessen the burden of your ailment, and offer you an opportunity to pursue one of the things that bring you true happiness (apart for Sue of course). I hope you to very best luck going forward. My bikes and my workshop, repairing stuff, redesigning stuff bring me so much joy so I can 💯 appreciate your sadness. Be strong mate. I wish the two of you the best of health. Darcy
I’ve loved Ian’s videos. He’s a fantastic motorcycle mechanic and I’ve learnt a lot from his tutorials (and his old school attitude😂). Health comes first. Get well and enjoy your lives in Bulgaria.
Absolutely health comes first for the both of you! Heartbroken to say the least. Thank you Sue for being the shining star, the trooper, the angel for looking after Ian⭐ To Ian, thank you for all your knowledge, wisdom, generosity of your time & energy but most of all, recover, re-energise & get back to full health. We all have one life that is incredibly special. Thank you to you both & have a fantastic Merry Christmas & a healthy & Happy New Year! Cheers! Lay off the Palinka till Christmas day!
Thank you for all your work on the videos so far and you’ll be missed. I’m not a a Royal Enfield fan but have really enjoyed the insights into your life in Bulgaria and Ian has a great laid back style on camera. Hope his health improves soon and best wishes to both of you.
Aw Ian how sad, I'm honestly gutted for you mate.......first video I've watched this morning. Your health and wellbeing must always come first. You never know, with some help from your doctors you be able to take the odd ride out..........we know you'll never give up on that. Thanks very much for your very helpful maintenance and upgrade videos and sharing your wealth of knowledge.........much better than parroting the manufacturer guidelines and thinking you're some kind of expect (I'm sure you know who I mean). Good luck and better health in all you and Sue decided to do in the future. Merry Christmas and all the best for 2025.
Your channel has been enjoyable to watch, which makes this news very saddening but quite understandable. Wishing you both a very Merry Christmas and Peaceful New Year.
Sorry to hear Ian's health problems have got so bad that's denying him the pleasure of riding and continuing the channel which is something I and I'm sure many others will miss. Good luck to you both for the future and I hope Ian's health improves, all the best!
Hello Ian & sue, I only subscribed to your channel a week ago and I would just like to say thank you to you both and hope everything works out well, and Ian your a honest, straight forward, common sense, no bullshit mechanic, so all the very best to you both for the future and merry Christmas and a happy new year 😘
As a relatively new subscriber, this is really bad news for all concerned, but in particular for Ian and yourself, I can't imagine having to give up my bikes although being realistic that time is approaching fast with the onset of various medical conditions I suffer from, but on that note please wish Ian a speedy recovery to get back to some semblance of normality even without the bikes, take care, wishing you both the happiest Christmas and New year you possibly can have.
Sorry to hear that declining health has led you to this decision. Thank you for the interesting content of the past. Best wishes for Christmas and the future with hope that you can continue to have enjoyable times ahead.
Totally understand the decision, will be sorely missed, but health has to come 1st , your knowledge and way of explaining is top notch , I own a Himalayan and a GT650 and your videos have given me the confidence to self service my bikes , wishing you both all the best and hopefully will see you soon!
Sorry to hear that Ian and Sue ... for what it's worth I'd say hang on to one bike for a while yet and see how things go . Even if it's only tinkering in future having a bike around will still be better than nothing ... Please keep the odd video coming whatever the content ...all the best Dave.
So sorry to hear your news, your videos are so helpful and your knowledge is amazing. Hope things improve for 2025 health and happiness to you both. Keep the Bullet, she’s a show piece.
Long term back suffer myself and not ridden since the end of August I can fully understand his predicement ... best wishes to you both for the future and have a great Christmas ❤❤
Oh what a sad bit of news Ian I am very sorry to hear this but your health always comes first I understand what it’s like I have spinal trouble myself probably not as bad as yours but it kills me to ride more than 2 hours without stopping then even after an hours stop it’s still not much better I have 2 discs in my neck worn and 3 in the lower back 2 of which are squashed I jam nerves ciatic nerves fairly often and it takes a week sometimes to free it again and I can’t walk upright at all but enough of me I just hope you can get something done about your problems but with heart problems I know it can be complicated I wish you all the best and if you can do or feel like making a video now and again even if it’s at home in the garden for just a chat that would be nice to still here from both of you so keep the channel open if you can take care both of you now poor old sue has got to put up with you around the house 😂😂😂 more merry Christmas and have a great 2025 as much as you can take care mate 💪💪🙏
Sooner or later we all have to call it a day and as the last of three mates that rode I know how difficult that decision is. Thanks for the channel and the rides. Seasons greeting and best wishes for the future.
Very very sad. Ian has his own style and i loved it. He deserves to have a pain free life you both should do whatever that takes. Bess you both and the channel was wonderful.
Oh god no!! This is a truly awful situation for Ian. Really terrible news!! Obviously the most important thing here is Ian's long term health. His main priority is clearly going to be maintaining his own health and ensuring that his other main priority, to Sue is maintained to ensure a many more years of happy and active marriage to his amazing lady. As for the bikes, there is no need to rush into any final decisions at this stage I think. Ian could work on his back strength, maybe look into back supports and perhaps use his bikes for very short trips only. He could continue to maintain them and fettle them. I really enjoyed his motorcycle vlog that he did and found it fresh, enlightening and honest. His views are built on decades of knowledge and experience and are far more honest than most youtubers. Could this be a way forward....? There is no rush. I am totally gutted for Ian. I really love his channel and enjoy the content that you both put out. Please accept my best regards to both Ian and you Sue.
Sue Best wishes to you and Ian. I shall miss your videos. I hope Ian recovers enough mobility to enjoy an active life, he looks like a person who would not take to a sedentary existence, Bob Higgins from the UK
All the very best to you guys, I am sure that sun will shine again, just a matter of time. Stay strong and with faith and patience you'll smile at this video in a not so distant future!XX Bazza
Sorry to hear about the trouble Ian is facing, get well soon mate, and take care of yourself sue, merry Christmas to you both, also I think the bullet would grace any living room, 👍🇬🇧🏍🙏😉

A hard video to make and an even harder decision to sell the bikes. Hopefully rest recuperation and reflection will lead to some planning around two or three wheels for the future. Thanks for the content, take care of yourselves.

Look it's time to get a Sidecar. I rarely ride motorcycles as motorcycles. I put sidecars in them or a trike kit and still have my fun
