I like the plastic bag idea, I think what I;ll do differently is take pics of myself with the wig on, print it out in those stock card sizes and replace the stock card with the pictures so I can easily identify them.
I use the Shein bags and the stock cards, your system is awesome 👌🏾 😊

My collection of wigs is small but I no longer know how to differentiate between natural and synthetic.
I think I'll use the label trick and give them a little nickname 😄

After you redesigned your room I bought a shelf and some cubbies for my wigs and I got clip on badges to name the cubbies. I use the wig sleeve too and throw the cardboard away. This is so neat and organized. Thanks so much!

Hey Brit. Thanks for this info. I saw your previous youtube where you shared about your storage system and it really blessed me. I modified mine by using the gLlon zip-lock storage bags and place them in a cube storage box on a closet shelf. I do keep the stock cards.
Two questions:
1. Where did you get the Shein bags? I didn't see a link to them.
2. What is the name of the unit you are wearing in this video? Looks so natural.
Hey there! I’m glad you found it helpful and modified it to suit your needs! I didn’t use any of the Shein bags for my storage, but what I usually do to get them is just save the bags when I place online orders. And the wig I’m wearing is a Kinky Edge wig from Hurela Hair. It’s from a few days ago.

I keep my stock cards with the plastic package ( taking out the paper and cardboards) , washing it, then braiding it in 2 pony tails w rubberband ,air drying then and placing it back ,storing in a large container. I also have another container for my crochet hair.🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤣

I have black square shelves like yr white ones I bought two six shelves from either Walmartor the dollar store thts where I keep my wigs n products as well they have the bins tht go in them at both places. If anyone does go buy them keep an eye on the sizes of the lil cloth bins bc some r to big to fit in the shelves I did tht so just letting y’all kno😅. Love the zipper pouches I have ziplock bags at the moment for mine. I usually keep my”summer” wigs n”winter” wigs separate too

I store all my wigs and their stock card in individual mesh bags (Amazon) so that the wigs can air. The wigs outer packaging I toss them the day I receive my new units.
Definitely a good system. Tossing the cardboard saves so much space
