Abomination or not, it sounds kinda good 🤔
As an Italian, it is and mostly eaten by kids
Calling putting fries on a pizza an "American Pizza" is like if I ordered an "Italian Cheeseburger" that is just a cheeseburger with spaghetti on top.
In all my life I have NEVER known ANYONE to put fries on a pizza
There exists pizza burgers.
honestly spaghetti burger sounds like it would go hard, really want that now
What the fuck burgers with spaghetti
I put fries on my burgers, so...she's not far off.
I can see burgers on pizza and if ya eat fast enough fries in burgers. Never seen fries on pizza before. Just about everything else.
Chocolate ice cream and anchovies is one extreme. A meat lovers or plain cheese, or veggie and even Hawaiian with the pineapples.
I wonder how the fries would be wedge, waffle, curly, crispy or soft? Crinkle-cut over straight. Is it because ya get more area and crisp?
I am loving this cat's speech accent (?)
i love my italian wife
What I want to know is what kind of fries are on the pizza. Shoestring? Crinkle cut? Waffle cut? Steak fries? Curly fries?
Just like with pasta, the shape of the fry can make all the difference in terms of flavor and mouthfeel.
I was wondering the same and didn't think of shoestring. . . that might actually work. The rest seem to big to me. A bit extra crispy and did she say hotdog? Make it a chilidog and ya got chili relish mustard ketchup, then the pizza can be cheddar cheese as that's common enough. Like chili cheese fries. Instead of the hotdog bun it's pizza crust. Now I'm thinking corn dog but pizza dog if ya stuff the dog in the pizza crust instead of cheese stuffed. Corn tortilla hotdog slice of american cheese, fried up crispy, it's good. Pizza might work too.
If you want true American pizza, you’re looking for either hamburger pizza or Chicago Deep Dish.
Closest I've had is potato wedges on pizza. The local place I had that from at the time made it so damn good.
The Rimworld outro music, lmao. Good clip!
Fries on pizza is nothing compare to what Koreans put on THEIR pizza. I know.
There is nothing sacred to Korean cuisine, they'll put anything.
So, a common thing in Long Island pizzerias is to have loaded baked potato pizzas. which absolutely slap. The fries still FEEL wrong to me, but I get it
... I'm having deja vu.
I SWEAR I heard this discussion before.
I am putting chips on my pizza.
Not fries. Actual crunchy potato chips. I like the crunch on top, it's really good 😊
Anytime you have to explain to somebody why something isn't weird odds are it is weird. Doesn't make it wrong though 🤣
I vaguely remember that there are a lot of "fauxthentic" food item that are just "we assumed that x nationality food was like this" or passing off something made up as more exotic because it's in the style of that culture. Admittedly fries on a pizza wouldn't be that outlandish of a topping and you'd think that some American pizza chain would have tried it, even as a temporary item, like they've added so much to pizza ... okay that is due to the government cheese bunker but still!
tbf I don't think Americans know what American fried rice is (it's amazing)
perché sono per bambini la pizza con le pattine
Do a lot of Italians still call their country "The Roman Empire"? Not trying to hate on it, just never heard of it before.
Apparantly? Ive never heard it before either
Raora actually said "Romance Empire", it's a fictional name for Italia
Just like "Great Exardia" for Great Britain, where Elizabeth comes from
Thanks for the correction! :)
Nah
Bro fries are Belgian :-(
This is the true legacy of Rome!
needs more garum
