Senators Quartet - I've Made A Covenant

The Senators Quartet was based out of Memphis Tennessee. The group was formed by Coy Cook around 1970, who sang Tenor with the Florida Boys for a number of years. Many personnel passed through the Senators including Jim Hamill, Mark Trammell, Ray Shelton, Calvin Runion, London Parris and Bill Dykes among the personnel who passed through the group over the years. This particular project "Stand By Me" features the lineup of Jim Hamill -- Lead, Tim Shelby -- Tenor, Rick Fair -- Bass, and Ray Shelton -- Baritone. Mark Trammell is also a part of the Senators band. This album was recorded in 1976. Hamill left the Kingsmen to join the Senators. Hamill would be back with the Kingsmen by 1977.
