Incredible landscape. I like that ship. Even though it is not super luxurious, to me it looks just like what a ship should look like. I am not enthusiastic for all these new modern super cruise ships that look like suburban shopping malls. However comfortable they may be, they just don't look like ships! LOL! I am guessing that you are now at home in Chicago. I hope you don't have cabin fever!
I absolutely do have cabin fever along with depression. Not only from the lack of travel but what the world is going through. So many people out of work and so many people ill. I'll have to watch my baby seal pups a few more times to make me smile. I love small ship cruising and will never say never, but I hope not to be on one of the 5,000 passenger ships, ever! 😱 Stay well and best to you, Sheila
The ship looks nice and the food looks excellent! I'm always about the food. Looking forward to seeing your videos of this adventure. This appears to be a fairly small cruise ship, did you have rough waters very much?

Karen was able to arrange a tour of the national park just outside of Ushuaia for the morning before we boarded the ship. The hotel staff were very helpful in setting this up. We enjoyed it.
I am having so much trouble with youtube comments the past week. They are supposed to show up in my e-mail and haven't 😱 So... I don't know if I responded or not! We visited the national park on our first Antarctic cruise with Quark in 2007. At that time, they included the visit and lunch there. How things change! Best to you and Karen. Sheila
We've taken 4 cruises (I think) with Quark and have basically been satisfied with what they offer, prices and destinations. And there is always a small discount for past travelers and possibility of cabin upgrade (that happened once before). Almost any cruise; adventure or not; has a glitch but Quark is a good cruise line. Are you thinking of booking an Antarctic cruise? Thanks for your view and time to comment and Happy New Year! It is a pretty disgusting day to begin the New Year in the Chicago area and people think we are certifiable to go from a Chicago winter down to the Antarctic but it is a completely different experience.
