I saw this movie when I was 11. It drew me towards knowing and understanding the story of Jesus even more. I learned the prayer at the end of the movie, and remembered every word of it. To this day, as I remember a lot of changes since then, I never forgot the prayer. As much as I still have more to learn about how to deal with everything I’ve been through, needless to say, or even much more to say letting go of hatred and bitterness I’ve had and even admittingly still have for those who have put me through so much hardships ands all, not to mention praising their misfortune, I know that God, especially Jesus my Lord and Savior, are much more bigger than my problems, anxieties, depression, and even hardships. I shall remember to this day that Jesus is everything to me among other things, including my salvation.
I couln't agree more. Ineed, and his words and deeds can be extemely useful and life-changing even for people who who are not christian, but seek wisdom & peace, love harmony in life.
Indeed, I can only confirm that. Interesting how Brian feels about his acting today. A Christian (maybe not only) can only dream of creating such a powerful and timeless piece of art that can touch so many lives so deeply and profoundly.

I really like this audio as the editing of each voice loudness is great, the quality of the recording is much better and clearer, also the voice of jesus I find in some ways more convicing or "goddly"... to name a few of my thoughts.....
Just remember you asked for my thoughts. So the delivery of many lines is terrible to be honest, the original actors voices felt natural and they were decent actors. The new audio is a dub and feels as such, it doesn't feel like it's happening in the scene, rather it's a dub which it is, and a poor quality one. Also some of the voice actors don't sound like they've had any training and as a result as I said some of the delivery of their lines isn't great. Also I grew up watching the original so it's kind of special to me. Just to point out there's 1080p versions of this on TH-cam with the original audio added which made the experience better and shows there's other people that certainly prefer the original too. As an example just compare the scene with Jesus in the boat when he asks Peter to lower the nets and check Peter's dialog. In the original it feels like a natural reaction to what the emotion of the scene needs, the new audios delivery is bizarre plus the voice actors voice doesn't even fit Peter's actor. At the end of the day as long as this is taking the gospel to people thats all that matters, but I certainly care about the quality of that message and the quality of movies and when the original work is tampered with, and this movie has a lot of good production in it, like good cinematography, good acting etc... Which a lot of Christian based movies now days don't really have let's be honest. Obviously I realise the original audio track also is a dubbed performance most likely but it felt more natural like it was recorded live from the actual actors. The audio design was a lot better with making the atmospheric noises and voices sound natural.
