However, I also enjoy experimenting different things even when they are out of style. I like individual style and I don’t like to dress by fashion dictation. Fashion is fun, and branching out of our normal routine of dressing can be excited.
Yes you know the answer to your question already. Your feeling is spot-on.
I prefer high waisted jeans. I have a menopause tummy and high waisted fit better and almost decrease my tummy. That’s why there are many styles of jeans, for different body types.
Great video! I do understand not liking cropped/ankle flare jeans, but I would not say they are out of style. Just about every brand offers these including premium denim (just did a search on the Nordstrom site). I personally like them for casual wear especially in the warmer months to wear with flat shoes and sandals. Does a full length flare make my legs look longer? Absolutely! I wear these too, but I find it difficult traipsing around Target in 4 inch heels. All that to say I think there is a place for my crops!
Every time I watch one of these type of videos, I see someone saying something is out of style. And yet, stores still stock them and people are still wearing them. This is why I don’t watch these type of videos too much - they’re just trying to get us to buy new shit every day. Who can afford styles that, according to them, will be out of style in a few months!!
They make your legs look shorter and make most women look a bit foolish, unless they are under 21 and model-thin. The denim brands are only offering them because they're "new." Remember, they want you to buy more jeans! I won't even buy one pair; most women will look back and think, "What was I thinking?"
I've never liked cropped flared jeans or any type of cropped pants. I'm always tempted to ask if they are predicting rain.
I definitely can't wear low waisted jeans, but I have a long torso. I think rise has a lot to do with proportions, high waisted jeans look odd on someone with a really short torso. Also, I LOVE quince, I have several items already and have two cardigans and a blazer on the way. I would love to see some more quince videos from you

This was the same outfit over and over in different colors for first several outfits, You look beautiful tho! I think the less tight add interest in the last few. Different Shapes gives style to the eye! Bravo on choosing you on dating and waiting for right one to come
What do you think about barrel jeans? Maybe those are marketed more towards younger gals, but I have been seeing them a lot … and I really question them.
What about a trouser style (high waist and front pleats etc) thin flowy denin almost palazzo pant?
Quince is cheap for a reason! The cashmere pills up after two wears. The silk is so thin it shredded on me after three wears. The athletic wear didn’t do well after two washes. I’ve returned a lot from there. Pricing is TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.
@fairfaxvienna4009 you just aren't caring for your pieces correctly. I love Quince and enjoy all the pieces I've purchased over the years, and my cashmere looks new still.
You are right wrt cashmere. I had thin spots under the arms after 2 years and crazy pilling
I’ve not tried their cashmere or silk but I have a couple of their sweatpants and hoodies in the supersoft line as well as a leather tote bag and I love both. The sweats have held up fine in the wash.

Mother denim are great for long legs. They are my favorite since I’m 5”8 34 inches in length are amazing.

I enjoy many of your videos, especially those about today's American women's clothing, denim! Personally, I love straight slim leg jeans best of all, but, I also wear slim flares, wide leg jeans that get fuller just above the knees; anything too extreme, drastic, or trendy is definitely not my vibe. I wear clothing that leans classic with an edge. People encouraged me for years to become a content creator, based on my on canera experience. Truthfully, people don'tunderstand the investment time or moneywise just to get started. When I left my career in 2010, to delve into something even more creative, I found thete to be a lacking of reasonably priced clothes for the manu fa eys of todau's working American woman. If you are lucky enough to find quality, the prices are insane. I sometimes shop Quince, but haven't been too lucky with their quality. I love Lily Silk and Vetonica Beard, too expensive everyday.
Fall season, my "uniform" is jeans, a body conscious blose or top, with suede, leather, knits, (No Faux Leather/ Suedes, they aretoo hot!) As the weather had already started to cool off early this year, I bought a shoryer trench at your suggestion and wear it frequently. By next week, I should be able to wear many more items all day, not just at night. I have frequently asked about doing themed videos when you have put it out there. I need more versatile day into evening choices, rather than athleisure, denim, or casual denim. Oh Btw, I collect denim too!😊 I don't cull several categories of clothing like I do with most; one is denim, the other is 'suits'. The denim often still works one to teo seasons, goes out for a while and comes back later. You have to see if it is sonething you can work for that season. The 'suits' are quite expensive, and as long as they are still wear worthy,I just juxtapose a few things. Most dresses I donate, I have given most away, other than gowns. However, whether my jeans, pants, jackets are 'in' or 'out' I will wear what I feel fits the current styles IF I still LOVE THEM! Icurrently have a black over dark denim ensemvle, with tasteful LEOPARD detail on both the jacket and the jeans' POCKETS. I swear, I jusy qent to a fundraiser for BREAST CANCER AWARENESS. I got many compliments on that outfit. I was happy it had many style points that are "in" right now. With clothing being so expensive, I can't justify donating all my clorhes each seadon, which is why I don't try my hand at styling.
Many woman today, go to the sales and clearance sections of such resources as the REAL REAL & eBay for better clothing they can't afford at full reyail. I for one, would love to see you do a video about that!🎉❤😊

As far as the low waisted baggy jeans trend goes: if a very slender, 15 year old girl, hanging out with a group of skaters, then it's an awesome look!
I do not fit into that category, so not for me trend.

I think it is a great idea to take a break from online dating. It’s important to be happy single and spend that time on yourself for awhile!
Maybe take a break through the end of 2024 and try it again the first of 2025. Also, I believe there are several dating services here in Dallas where they match you up with someone after they meet both parties in person. There is one on North Dallas Tollway that I have seen but I don’t remember the name.

I dated for 10 years after a 16 year relationship with my children’s father. Met the person I’m with now at the beginning of being single, and the timing was wrong. A little over a year ago we rekindled our friendship and it lead to the happiness I have now. The time will come.

Dating is very personal. You'll make the right decision. To meet someone organically, it's important to frequent the same places for example, the gym/workout center, church, bookstore, museum, coffee shops, country club, golf course.... We can meet men anywhere, but where we meet them is important. It's really just about getting out there and enjoying life doing whatever you like, even if it's learning a new skill. Nothing is prettier than a woman enjoying herself, not taking herself too seriously, having a good time, laughing, smiling.. That's attractive! And I wholeheartedly share your philosophy. In God's time, not ours.

It’s very on trend with younger girls and they look GREAT in them! I’m certain you have subscribers of all ages so you really need to change your narrative. I’m 58 so no, I don’t wear them but they are super trendy & flattering for a lot of young women! 🙄

I would adjust how I meet men. You're wasting your time only dating online, but I understand we all have a soulmate. However, sometimes, we already missed the opportunity headed in the wrong direction.
Those guys online are looking for lonely women, and in my experience, they are full of @#%*
Ask yourself why are you attracted to these type of men. Take time to talk with a Therapist, it will take you back to your childhood. Once you connect the dots, you can begin to heal & understand the root cause. Pray over the right Therapist to talk to. Trust the Lord to bring it forth, so he can get in there & heal you. I’m going thru a healing process. It’s very painful at times, in the end it will be worth it. When going to the gym, they say, “No Pain, No Gain !!!” This is so true. You can work hard to get your body in shape, but you have to get in shape mentally. They both go hand in hand. We have to fix ourselves first, before we can attract the right person. ❤Praying for you Heather. None of the short length pants look good on anyone. It’s kind of the opposite of those guys that wear their pants below their butt. Makes your legs look as short as theirs do.
