Where does the bible say we were pre-mortal spirit beings in heaven before Earth was formed?
I always understood Jeremiah 1:5 as in God knew who we would be and our character traits and temperament and passions and motivations before we were born
Jer. 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
We were created in Eternity, and formed in the Womb.

Where does it say our spirits were with God in heaven? The fact that God forms the impartation of the "human" spirit we received from Adam and Eve up to our parents is something else.
I think it has something to do with the fact that God knew us before he created us. So idk if that has to do with his omniscient power or ability to know the future, or just that we were with Him in spirit somehow due to Him knowing we would be born. But yea Im not entirely sure if we were physically with Him in heaven. Just that there was a spark there. Although I've seen videos of people's children saying things about heaven, and having dreams about God and remembering certain stuff as if they were always there with Him.

--If there is no verse for something, why teach it as if it's real? Why? No knowledge and therefore real fear of God; it makes traditions that replace God's will and plan.

@@outofthebox7 Yea I'll agree with you on that the bible doesnt touch on it. And tbf I didn't think of this much until I saw some videos and read your comment. There are defintely things not in the Bible that we don't know, maybe God chose not to reveal it bc its not really that important. I think this is one of them. We should just focus on our walk with God and leave the superstitions behind.
@@outofthebox7 Hey...I am not sure if this will help but the last sentence you have written, i would answer with this. Jeremiah 1 vs 5, God tells Jeremiah that even before he put Him in the mum's womb, He knew him. You could use this as a reference maybe.
@@misula05 That verse says that He knew him before forming him in the womb. This means he preexisted the womb. I am not denying that. I am denying that mysteriously we were souls in heaven; what were we doing there? The way I see it, is that our souls, come from the same breath of life imparted to Adam and passed on to his children all they way up to and our descendants. So our soul was not in heaven separate from our ancestors. At some point, when conception is made, if God wants to intervene and make changes to a souls existence, He does; this does not mean that this is true for all people's souls, The changes would be depending on God's purposes e.g. for His prophet Jeremiah. Of course, I don't know all the details, but I do not see that we were all preexisting souls in heaven before coming to earth, not that all our souls are formed by God. It could be the case, it's just not in Scripture, so why should we wonder off to making personal doctrines and self-religion?

Are you a believer in Christ. If you are according to the Bible god has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind. We should fear no demon no spirit nothing from the devil.
@@soflo3218 only thing I fear is myself. Forget about the demons. We make the choices we make at the end of the day. And I have a tendency to self destruct when I reach a place of good faith with God.

What did Jesus (pbuh) said about himself is clear but some people are programmed/blind:

God knows everything and can do anything
Jesus didn't know the hour and he couldn't do anything by himself.

Summary: Jesus Christ is a true prophet and a messenger of god and Jesus has a God and can do nothing by himself and didnt know the hour and he worshipped god and was sent by (the only true God).
