the fact that the pickleball game 100m away is audible in this video... 😂😂
Great lesson Nick! 😀😀😀
Still waiting for video on Taylor Fritz serve.
pretty the same serve, its kind of a trend for good servers
@damirvaleev1293 What is distinctive in Fritz's serve is that he has the racquet on his right side adjacent to service line- on edge with the strings facing front and back to court.. He then lifts the racquet behind him with platform stance and turns his shoulder and drives up to ball. A lot of players dont really serve this way.
Federer had his strings facing to ground and sky and had an open faced racquet drop. Medevev's has more of a 45 degree angle with his racquet on his side. They are many players who lift their racquet towards their head like they are saluting in the Army and do the so called knock the hat off your head. Fritz does not do any of these things. .look at his serve in slow motion. I have to study Sinners serve more thouroughy to compare it to Fritz.
Anyway, Nick said more than once he will do a video analysis of Fritz's serve. Now that the tennis season is just about over, maybe Nick will find time to actually do this. Is that right-Nick???😊🎾
@@damirvaleev1293 Looking further at Sinner's serve - I would agree that it is similar to Fritz- except Fritz has platform stance. I agree with Nick that Sinners movement of back foot forward seems awkward in its timing. I think it is definitely easier to serve with platform stance than pinpoint- one less thing to worry about that can go wrong.
Interesting changes. To me it looks as if he was trying to speed up the whole motion, Kyrgios style. Looks like it made his serve harder, morr precise, and more difficult to read at the same time. Maybe it's the Clostebol.
Thanks for the analysis coach. Can you go over the role and importance of going on the balls of your feet (with the heels raised) once loaded and in the trophy phase? Is this something that is practiced or is more of a byproduct of the motion?
Byproduct, if you land on heel there are other factors contributing to it. Did you come from the Tomic video 😂?
The pickleball in the background...😮💨
Just realized that sinner used to serve platform style.
Yeah he started with foot up, than moved to foot back for a couple of years, than come back to foot up in late 2022 i think
Toss and moving the back leg at the same time… will result in inconsistent tosses for most recreational players. They don’t have enough practice like Sinner or Zverev.

Omg the pickleball sound is so annoying...😑
😂
