She rehearsed it in her head. :) Back in the '80s and '90s when she had out-of-town shows and there was no time to rehearse anymore because they got in the place only a few hours before showtime, she just rehearsed the songs in her head. Ganyan siya kagaling at ganoon niya ka-alam yung boses niya. Her voice is her instrument.
@@tonettesantos7190 Truuuee! I was saying na talent at gift ni Regine ang mag-memorize at magcreate ng special melody lines to elevate the song to a new level. Pansin ko, sa dami ng kinanta ni Regine, nakakalimutan na niya ang lyrics pero never siyang mawawala at makakalimot ng melodies. Confirmed nga kasi sa Idol she revealed that she memorizes each and every melody line before the lyrics themselves. Even songwriters like Trina Belamide and Jim Paredes, bilib sa galing ni Regine mag-add at magrevise ng melodies ng certain lines ng kanta para mas pagandahin ang song. May kwento jan si Trina regarding Regine's magic touch.
