Based on the parallel verses it is Jesus/God. It cannot be an angel because the angel would have told him to stand up and not worship him. The same for the word worship, it is used in Ex. 34:8 when Moses bowed down and worshipped God. We also know it is Jesus, because in Revelation he is the Captain of God's army. (Revelation 19:11-16) verse 13) And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
and we know Jesus is the Word of God, because of John 1:1 & 14. Also, John the Baptist said he is not worthy to loosen the straps of the sandals of the one coming after him, (Jesus). John 1:27 For some reason God had these two verses in Joshua jump out at me this year. I appreciate your videos. So exciting! God's word/Word is amazing.

Also other angels from Old Testament didn't accept glory or (lamb) sacrifices or they would simply would not want too much attention put to them (rather than God), those example would be the angel that Ghedeon met AND the angel that Samson's parents met.
