Hello pradnya, sorry for the late reply, you can use 7 inches, 11 or 12 inches. Don't inflate it too much and make sure it's flexible and easy to twist. I don't think one pc. 5 inches will work unless if it's only for duplet but not quad. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing but I’m struggling with getting the neck in between the balloons. When I twist one balloon to make two my neck is on the outside of the quad. Is there something I should do differently?

Hello Shaakira,
When squeezing the balloon make sure to put the neck under your pointy finger. In that way when it get twisted it'll be in the center then you wrap that around (in between). I hope you'll get this, try it again I know you can do it. Thank you.
