Haunting. Beautiful. She was so talented. This woman was definitely heaven sent and now returned. God speed darling you made so much beauty in this world ♥️♥️♥️
God bless this beautiful woman with the beautiful voice! Another teal angel has been taken too soon from us RIP Mimi, tomorrow will mark 7 years of survivorship for my wife with this insidious disease.
I just now came across this band today for the first time. I lost my mom to ovarian cancer in 2008....and while I think about her every day, lately it's been more than usual. and seeing this amazing singer lost her battle to the same disease....I must have been meant to hear this.
"Mimi Parker of Low has died, according to social media updates by the band. Parker, who cofounded the Duluth-based rock group with husband Alan Sparhawk, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer two years ago. Since then, Low had cut back on live performances and Parker received treatment. An update posted Sunday morning reads: “Friends, it’s hard to put the universe into language and into a short message, but She passed away last night, surrounded by family and love, including yours. Keep her name close and sacred. Share this moment with someone who needs you. Love is indeed the most important thing.” From Minnesota Public Radio
I can't believe I never heard this until I was watching Orange is the New Black. They are awesome. Ordered the CD ...can't wait to get it. Share the crap out of this !!!!!
_Lyrics_ Cry me a river So I can float over to you The bearer to deliver the news I'm over the moon And underfoot All these elixirs would be moot Cause if we knew where we belong There'd be no doubt where we're from But as it stands, we don't have a clue Especially me and probably you You've fallen in a slumber Just wake one more time To miss or put asunder Would be a crime Some songs feel like butter Some songs sound like cake This little number is for your sake Cause if we knew where we belong There'd be no doubt where we're from But as it stands, we all need the truth Especially me and probably you Probably you, probably you Definitely you
Superb vocals , excellent song , cuts deep , the vocal is pure like joan baez or mama cass , what i love about Low is their non compromise , this is what we do! Carry on doing Low because it lifts me up high! Peace
I really enjoyed this song when it came out ! glad to see it pop in my YT feed ! I like their style, I had discovered them a long time ago through a Joy Division cover...
I am very partial to the songs Mimi sings lead, like this one. 11/14/22 Ah, it seems I have been here before and I will be here again. My 1st comment takes on a whole new meaning for me. Here again 😢
Awesome song, but why does the description say "Enjoy Mike Behrends as he performs "Enough About Me" during a performance on Live from Studio A at KUMD in Duluth, Minnesota."
Dear god! I just got back from the hospital. I was listening to this and had to stab my ear drums with an ice pick so it would stop because my mouse ran out of batteries.

_Lyrics_
Cry me a river
So I can float over to you
The bearer to deliver the news
I'm over the moon
And underfoot
All these elixirs would be moot
Cause if we knew where we belong
There'd be no doubt where we're from
But as it stands, we don't have a clue
Especially me and probably you
You've fallen in a slumber
Just wake one more time
To miss or put asunder
Would be a crime
Some songs feel like butter
Some songs sound like cake
This little number is for your sake
Cause if we knew where we belong
There'd be no doubt where we're from
But as it stands, we all need the truth
Especially me and probably you
Probably you, probably you
Definitely you
Thank you for posting the lyrics
Sounds a bit like Tolkien, I could hear the wizard saying that.
