Is it a disc? is it a boomerang? Is it a flippyflop? NO! It's the cross! This rather weak weapon is taking on the inverse mode, which triples the HP of the enemies and allows them to grow their HP a lot faster than it usually is. And before we start talking about the final waves - how do we even survive the prior ones?

DEX! I just came up with a crazy idea for a video, maybe there is a way to input your keyboard onto two vampire survivors games at once? or even 4? imagine having to play on different maps with different characters picking different weaphons at the same time, seems entertaining to me
Technically, since the game doesnt pause when its unfocused, I could just run 4 instances, record my entire screen and play 4 games at once.
The only issue I see is that every time I level up it pauses the game, which is not a problem if I level up on my own, but when enemies run into me.
I will consider the options what I may be able to do, probably without Curse at first since it will be hard enough to manage all at once :)
That sounds really freaking hard lol
Maybe wait till all instances get a level up and choose the same option from them (first, 2nd etc)
Dex just make the content that makes you happy. You are always so lively and fun to watch! Please I will watch anything. Don't be afraid to do what you like to do.
I know you're a big fan of starting with Wicked Season, but I would recommend trying out Miang Moonspell with the Disco of Gold arcana. No need for armor or other defensive weapons, more damage = more kills = longer gold fever = more healing = more overheal for Miang's passive. Bone Zone mid-run reapers? Guardians? Who cares, you can basically AFK 4v1 and barely see your life bar drop as long as you keep the gold fever active. At the end of the 30 minutes I had a solid 11k hp, without even picking empty heart (grabbed Disco > Mad Groove > Sarabande of Healing, but only the first is needed so you can still pick your other favorites).
I enjoyed the gatling gun Cross. It was funny how the enemies scattered like crazy at the end LOL. Also I never congratulated you for hitting 69k(nice!) Subs so...congratulations! As for videos I don't mind the skipping especially if nothing is happening. As far as Arcana goes it depends on the weapon. Some weapons have interesting things that are fun if used like the blue gun and Jail of Crystal or the red gun with Heart of Fire. But, personally I would prefer to see you play the way you want and also some of those other arcana's aren't even viable in inverse mode.(Looking at you Blood Astronomia!)
There should be an arcana per level might, as there are for area duration and speed. Because some weapons like this one really need damage scaling more than anything.
It probably couldnt be 1% per level, maybe .5% otherwise the damage would just be ridiculous

The main point of these videos to check out what individual weapons can do by itself and how powerful they can become. Having to restrict what you can take and what you cannot, goes against that. Bruh, if it works then apply it instead of feeling bitter about it. (Regarding the Boogaloo of Illusions thingy)
The video length is good as whatever the main purpose of the video is shown. Even if it's 2mins or 2 hours, if it gets the job done-then the length is perfect.
Excited for 100k, but also kind of sad it won’t be 69k anymore!

You should try Boneraiser Minions as I think you might just enjoy that,
I have no issue with hour long videos, it's a good length for these games
Hi Dex. Nice video. Keep up with good work. I have an idea about infinity build without crimson shroud. You could use Cosmo with Divine Bloodline to outheal damage indefinitely. It might be a funny video. I hope I helped at least a little bit.
a part of me really wants to see queen sigma victory sword limit break on inverse mode even though I know its gonna end up like the fuwalafuwaloo video.

I do enjoy these videos, but I must admit part of me wishes there was a way to test the weapon without character modifiers. While most don't have overly significant modifiers, they usually add extra levels early on that may result in snowballs. And of course there are those like Pugnala that skew things hard.
Character: peppino
Weapons: garlic,laurel/crimson shroud, clock lancet/infinite corridor
Passives: wings, pummarola,candelabrador, crown, attractorb, spinach, empty tome, and all garden items
But I suggest you go for the left first
Arcanes: blood artronomia, wicked, and divine bloodline
I had no idea what the arcana you were using was so I eventually made a title for what I heard; "Vampire Survivors 2: The Electric Boogaloo of Illusions"
This is one of my least favorite weapons, but I might unbanish it tonight just to play around like this.
BTW: I assume you choose whichever character has the weapon to test as their initial one, but have you thought about running these tests as Trouser? Then the per-character differences are removed, so it's a pure weapon-vs-inverse mode test.

Yea, especially when I used to have the damage results at the end of videos this frequently came up and while I like the idea for the sake of comparison, I don't really try to rank these weapons or go for the ultimate max (in that case, it would often be even better to get Wicked Season at 11 or even 21 minutes so we can still kill the wave at 29 minutes and get a ridiculous amount of XP).
My goal is a bit more to create an entertaining video for both, the viewer and myself, and I especially like the spice that Wicked Season adds until you get to a point where you are strong enough, or being surprised how an unexpected weapon suddenly easily beats it out of nowhere. And the choice of going with the char that starts with the weapon of choice is very similar to this, I would get bored playing the same char again and again and wouldn't feel like I am playing the identity of this character and more like, well, damage testing :D
Dex as far as Im concerned your Videos could be always at least 1h long. But I guess a lot of people dont want to commit that much time. So ~20min should be fine I would assume
I don't know how feasible it would be, but I really wish there was some way to cap the knockback speed so enemies wouldn't immediately despawn once they get hit at high curse. I feel like so many weapons would perform so much better if the enemies actually stuck around long enough to die.
The simplest solution is to make it so knocking an enemy into the despawn zone kills it.

On Limit Break its actually an insane weapon to evolve :D I recommend checking out the recent Heaven Sword Limit Break video :p it was one of the top performers out of all weapons, though the knockback on the final wave killed what it could have hit
Have you checked new display thunder ring? The lights changed in size too now with area bonuses
how do you have such high enemy spawns, out of curiosity? is it because of the charm from bat country?
You should try Limit break Song of Mana!! That would be such a good challenge.

Maybe try it again with awake, and tiragisu, instead of bogaloo or the projectile speed. With the bonus revives krochi has it will probably have better results
Can you do a limit break Poe? I did it recently with the healing doubling arcana and it worked quite well. Also I took armour, hollow heart and of course pulmarola.

I actually really like cross as it is. I despise heaven sword though. I never find it worth it to evolve
You could get Infinite arcana by playing endless for every 15 minutes.
You are on a character based on revives and didn't go awake....
Because Awake only triggers once you actually die and it's really hard to die but only x amount of times
@@DexTag cape's exist for that.
It's not a bad weapon on its own, tho. You just have to be aware of your positioning early on.
Is the bouncing better than slash?
Dex you forgot about the curse with the gardian so the HP was higher
Curse doesnt apply to the guardians and red death
