3:40 "If I get 5 protects in a row we could lose the fight" Not gonna lie that sounds like a very funny way to wipe And we know smant's luck, so it is possible
It's really not. Always a new person. Some people act like every single person in chat has been around for every stream and caught them all from the start.
Spoiler: . . . Smant luck is truly whatever is funniest. That crit to fully heal Sprout after the wonky AI was fantastic. And then a completely damageless Flannery is the cherry on top. Dumpling and DinoNugget are goats in this run.
As much as I respect the time and effort that goes into these games, I don't really understand the enjoyment if you know every single thing that is going to happen before going into a battle. I prefer surprises and taking risks in my Pokemon games without knowing the outcome.
@@morkoski6046 I see it as the equivalent of working out every single answer to a crossword puzzle and then only filling it in once you know every answer, it's just seems a bit too robotic to me.
Well he's also nuzlocking it. Calculation is key. Going in blind for fun is definitely a valid option if you're rocking casual play. There's appeal for everybody depending on your path
@bigfudge2031 you don't figure out every answer. You figure out the best possible series of plays you can make given the situation. It's like chess, standard openers exist for a reason but knowing them doesn't mean you've "pre filled out" the boardstate. Games like run and bun are hard enough within the confines of a nuzlocke that the wrong lead can spell a complete wipe, just going with the flow isn't a thing. Even wacko the poster boy for not calcing still is calcling... he's just doing it by wiping over 350 times now and basically memorizing the moves sets.
Why does he time out people who say wrong things or forget something? Is it to dissuade people giving bad info that might end his run? I haven't seen any of the actual streams.
Every Run&Bun edited video is here, he probably want us to be able to watch the journey, but 130+ hours (as for now) would be too much, that's probably why they are edited, but on the other hand he probably doesn't want dozens of Run&Bun videos on his main chanel, just one that tells the whole journey, that's my guess

I'm pretty sure the third protect always fails in this mod, so that was impossible.
Did you know Rock Slide has 100% accuracy in this mod?
he doesn’t know
Chat sure doesn't that for sure
The amount of times he has to say rock slide is 100% accuracy is crazy

Smallant taking as long to get his 5th gym badge as i did when i was 5
One of my favorite things about this game is that you can't get too lucky either or that will also cause you to wipe
Tbh this is realistic in the sense that if Pokemon was real it would take this much time and more to go from one gym to another
Dinosaur rock chicken is definitely pulling its own weight.
That reference to ryan lockwood's 1.12 was so good 18:05 lol
Can’t believe how many times he risked Rock Slide miss. Never punished I guess.
Not only that but he risked the burn chance on that fire blast as well. Smh I don't know if he will be able to win the run with sloppy play like this.
rock slides doesent miss its updated to 100% in this rom hack
Not understanding a joke is very pog i agree @Aimiya_Ria
@@Aimiya_Ria This is a certified r/whoosh moment
mb its alr 2025 and rtrds are still using rwoosh ig
It never occurred to me just how insanely busted strong Archeops can be, holy shit
He is Aerodactyl's cousin fr
Also helps Smant maxxed out archeops’ speed IVs a few streams ago haha
Edited vods vid? Im all for it🔥
I have absolutely no context for anything happening in this video other than Smant is playing pokemon.
Generally speaking, this is the hardest Pokémon mod to nuzlocke in the world.
@@lliillIIIIIIIIiIiiilllllll And it's also like his second or third real nuzlocke ever
bro is finally halfway
Smant so lucky not missing one rock slide
Gonna be wild to tune into streams and not see Badges: 4 anymore
Just want to say, the marowak alohan version is wrong, this is the shiny color version sprite, even so it doesn’t matter much.
I have not watched the video yet

Will there be a separate video about the Surf Encounter Bonanza? Would love to see that

Basically turns an RPG into an puzzle and strategy game. There are fans in either style

You should try nuzlocking Pokemon Emerald Rogue then...

do you want to watch 131 hours?
Coz 90% of the run and bun vods is calculation just calculation.
