I was working on Top Gear with the Pyro Crew with the Zenvo when it caught fire.....and no it was not the pyro crew that caused the issue !!!. The car was awesome, but had many issues. The clutch burned out, the headlight leaked, the rear brake bound and caught fire and it was touch fragile, but what a beauty of a car. Stig was telling us how difficult the ST1 was to drive as half through a corner, the turbo lights up, dumping several hundred horses and would catch out most drivers. The was early doors, so do hope Zenvo has addressed these issue as the car is stunning.
Little history on Jørgen Strøjer Hansen. Jørgen is the 5th generation of Strøjer Tegl (Strøjer Bricks) founded around 1850 it was handed over to him by his father in 1984. In 2021 Jørgen handed over the company to his son Joachim Strøjer Hansen. The Strøjer collection was founded by Jørgen who has been collecting cars for over 40 years.

funny thing as well is that it's in Denmark, notorious for very high taxes on cars. Must have taken a lot of patience and money to build it up over the years. Come to think of it, I don't know why I haven't ever been there when it's in my country. I better change that.
As a Danish guy,. i wanna say how impressed i am at how well you pronounced "Strøjer samlingen" its a pretty difficult word for any person that isnt from scandinavia. :D
beautiful collection, and a wonderful presentation. You've come a long way since the early days Shmee, you've become a great host for your own car show.

Tremendous collection. So many of the red cars too. Jaw dropping. Thanks for taking us along. If you haven't been to the French national collection in Mulhouse, you must. It's huge.
10:39 That’s a Group C2 (called LMP2 today) URD, with the engine transplanted from a BMW M1 Procar. I know because, among other races, my late father completed the 1986 Le Mans in it, and before that drove the M1 Procar from where the engine was taken. It brings me a lot of joy to see it being so well taken care of.
That’s the best collection I have seen. I know there are others maybe more HyperCars but that has such a range and reason for them all. Not just throwing money at it, thought has been put into it, and boat load of cash.
Shmee150 Absolutely Incredible Video I think the Strojer Collection is Absolutely Incredible and I'm glad the team let you share your experience and I can't wait to see your Zenvo TSR-S update
The BMW Le Mans is a big part of the danish Le Mans history. It was driven by Jens Winther at his first Le Mans. That was the first time a danish driver competed at Le Mans:)
I know there are name plates at the front, but I bet Shmee still could go through that entire inventory and know them all instantly. Such a brilliant guy
I enjoyed the small museums and car showrooms in Sweden. Random rooms at a Moose reserve, to side rooms in the Husqvarna museum. You have some great coverage and access, thank for sharing.
When i was there during an open house a few years ago did not seem anywhere near this stacked.. .. Who knew selling bricks could land you in metal this special?.. Truly an amazing tour.. As a dane, thank you for the coverage.. Can't wait to see the Zenvo.. (small note for the description.. Samlingen means The Collection.. So you've essentially written The The Strøjer Collection.. The Strøjer Samling, would be proper danish in context)
Must agree! Lovely and amazing collection. Glad to see you enjoy it and share it with the world. Was lucky to go there myself last Saturday. Jørgen himself is so much joy and happiness, too.
As a Dane, I am very happy and proud to see this Danish collection of marvelous cars! Now I just need to visit the place myself ;-) I am looking forward to see videos with your own Zenvo @Shmee150, driving around in beautiful Denmark 🇩🇰 When will you get it?

The BMW M1 URD is quite a national treasure when it comes to danish involvement in motorsport. It was driven by Jens Winther the first danish driver to drive at Le Mans in 1986
Really cool that danish people like myself are able to own cars like these even though out prices are double the us. When living in denmark you never see old vintage cars like these or even “normal” ferarris. The only time i saw an old limo driven was when the royal family drove past my house and actually waved to me. But really cool video Tim, and know that you are always welcome in Denmark
Very cool to see you here in Denmark :) I never knew about this amazing collection, but I will definately try to find more info and see when the next guided tour is ;)
I was younger and didn't remember the fire story with the ST1 but remember it being on that Top Gear episode quite vividly because it was the same episode they took the small engined cars to Chernobyl it seems. In the one where they did a 24 hour race round Silverstone in a 3 series BMW, the Ascari A10 was there and I was getting the two cars mixed up in my head for a bit
I love the Ferraris like the 250 GTO and F40. Rare to see the 288 GTO. I think the building has a fire sprinkler system. Perhaps this is something that needs to be added to the Schmuseum too?
The Camaro, think it is from a Danish Touring car class. The father, of one of my classmates at high school, had the old Rolls Royce , standing on top of their pool, for several years .
