There is always something so magical when I create intuitively and it has been awhile since I have played. You have inspired me! What a beautiful spread, thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much! I’m glad the spread resonated with you. There really is something magical about creating intuitively. I’m happy I could inspire you, and I appreciate your kind words! 😊❤️
It's so amazing to watch the transformation from 2 white pages to the beautiful art you ended up with. I love the colors and that book of butterflies is so lovely.
@@suchijournalive there is piano music on this video…? It’s a short track on repeat all the way through so I found it quite distracting. I hope you can take this as the positive feedback it’s intended to be. Your artwork is lovely.
@@sallymitchell6423 Thank you so much for your feedback! Since I am deaf, I create my videos without sound and select soft music from free audio libraries, though I have no real knowledge of music. Hi Susana… kudos to you for experimenting in your journal and thinking outside the box to create your page in the orientation you chose. I enjoyed the process not sure where we were going on the journey… it was a fun ride from start to finish! Thanks for sharing your creativity and inspiration. Have a wonderful weekend. 🙂
Thank you so much for your kind words! It was such a fun process for me, and I’m glad you enjoyed the journey too. Your support and feedback mean a lot to me! 😊 Wishing you a wonderful Sunday ❤️🫶🏻
Gesso is not for paper. Gesso is a water based product and depending on how much you apply can take from 1 hour to 24hours to properly dry; regardless of using a heat gun. Essentially, all you have done here is add a bunch of water based products and mixed them together believing they will not soak into the page (thinking that is what gesso is for) and or contaminating all your products making them unstable over time. The immediate effect may make for a good video but let me see your work in a year for a side by side comparison. It is important to use the CORRECT products for the CORRECT purpose. Always start with QUALITY paper. Use QUALITY Watercolour/mixed media for water based products. Gesso is for CANVAS prep and is sanded in between THIN coats that have dried properly. ALL GESSO is gritty and ruins, pens, pencils, pencil crayons, markers and synthetic paint brushes. Matte media is also a water based product and not for paper; it is not a glue, it does not dry completely for days to ensure the paint it is mixed with remains malleable for the artist to manipulate. Until you know the chemical composition of the products you are using you should never attempt to manipulate products for other purposes. Stop spreading misleading product use.
@@joycegifford8826 I’m sorry that my post disappointed you, but I am not manipulating or misleading anyone. My goal is to share my creative process, and every artist has their own way of working with materials. While I understand your point about gesso and its traditional use, experimenting and adapting materials is common in the art world. I respect your comments, but please remember that what works for some may not be ideal for others. I appreciate constructive dialogue and am always open to learning, but I ask for respect towards my approach and artistic decisions.🙏
Really? Joyce you could have found a constructive way to say there may be better mediums to use. Instead you come off like a jealous pompas ass. Just who the he'll do you think you are? Entitled much? Jeez. Let the girl have her fun did it hurt you? Cuz I'm sure your bullshit post hurt her. Unreal
