spragels, another good tip with blaziken is after you kick them against the wall, aim theoverheat to behind you, overheat actually hits the back of blaziken, so since the enemy is against the wall the only way to escape is to run or dash around blaziken, which we wont allow cuz we will have that area covered too hehe
Hey, late to the conversation here, but have you tried using the energy amplifier as that gives a 21% increase to attack when the unite move is used meaning that you will basically just do an extra 21% damage in everyfight
@@SpencerClark-gr9kx its never too late to talk about blaziken hehe, and yeah, that actually makes part of the build i ran. When blaziken first launched amplifier wasnt good on him because it was too easy to get overwhelmed by his mechanics, today tho, we already had time to get the hard techniques out of the way, so i do recommend pros to run energy amplifier, its just so much dmg even without stacking. I also tried buddy barrier, but buddy barrier is less effective compared to amplifier so i still recommend cookie or resonant guard instead. What is your experience with stacking or energy amplifier btw?
@@villain_devious Doesn't energy amp and buddy barrier have a cooldown of 60 seconds? Meaning although Blaziken's unite cooldown in just 7 sec, it won't trigger amp and barrier multiple times in a fight, because these two items are still on their own cooldown?
@@lucariovietnam2145 nope! energy amp has a 15 secs cooldown and buddy-b has 30 secs cooldown, meaning, if you go for a farm you should take like 20 to 35 secs until you meet your next opponent, and thats why amp is so great on him. I dont like buddy-b so much tho, altho it is stronger than cookie on the start of the game, late game it just isnt reliable at all, while you can still reuse amp 2 times at ray fight (on a side note, only healers should use buddy-b because it is a tool that allows them to heal the carry without being interrupted, which makes it a huge liability for end game)
Couple of things you missed out in the tips and tricks section. These are very important to learn as Blaziken. Blaze Kick+ on a wall basically guarantees a full charge Overheat because of the slow and the 1.5s stun. You can animation cancel Overheat into Unite Move on hit which’ll allow you to immediately start ripping opponents with Fire Punch as well.
That combo explanation was great, whenever I’m looking to try playing a new pokemon I always wonder what some of the combo tricks are. I’ve been wanting to play Blaziken some so this timing is perfect. These tips would be a way to provide some tips without doing your full detailed videos on every pokemon. Yee haw!
Explanation was super helpful at the start of the video - I'd personally also like to hear a quick cliffnotes on what Held Items you run and why, personally, since it's a huge help for learning new Pokemon.
Eject Button is probably his best since it allows for Overheat redirection, which helps a lot to catch people off-guard. Not a full-time Blaziken main, tho, so maybe someone else can explain better regarding Button or its other good items
I am a Blaziken main, so I can give you the cliffnotes. Razor Claw: You use a lot of abilities so you get very easy activations, and the slows and extra damage help with your fighting. Attack Weight: A flat stat boost to your Attack basically makes everything stronger, especially because Blaziken’s kit has really high % Atk scalings (Overheat has like 400%, Focus Blast has close to 200%, double Fire Punch is similar etc) Aeos Cookie: Blaziken’s health restoration is a flat 5% or 7% max HP so you don’t lower your % heals by stacking, and it’s improves Blaziken’s overall bulk and allows it to better leverage things like Overheat’s damage reduction.
i need to add stuff to this: other viable items to use aside from these ones are muscle band instead of razor claw in case your team's lacking a good objective ripper and resonant guard in case you wanna run a more bulky build. in case you're not laning, i'd recommend doing muscle band, resonant guard and razor claw to avoid having to stack and being more of a dynamic carry bulky brawler. have fun! @@MedhaosFEH
Loved the little nugget of strategy at the start I can rank to masters but often struggle when I am up there due to not knowing or not being able to pull off the little combos and details of each Pokemon that can really set you apart.
All rounder is the least played class in my own book, but it looks so fun! So I wonder which mon I should pick. Taekwondo chicken, water bear, cabbage gal and aqua mouse looks fun to play with. No brainrot auto basic attack mon, ofc 😊
Water bear is pretty bad now in comparison to a lot of other options. I don't play Tsareena, but I play a lot of Blaziken and a decent bit of Azu. Both are fun. If you want an easier all-rounder, go Azu. Just remember to stay single target so you get the most out of its ability. Blaziken is a lot to comprehend at the beginning, but it's absolutely worth the effort! I've carried so many otherwise unwinnable games with Taekwondo Chicken :)
I absolutely love blaziken, using it for 2 seasons now and I seriously think it needs minor buffs like a little healing on its fire punch move and hindrance resistance on the unite move because as of now it gets CC'd very easily.
It doesn’t. Fire Punch combos can build Blaze stacks very quickly and you can use Overheat defensively (or even defensive -> offensive Overheat with Eject Button) to prevent CC along with Blaze Kick having Unstoppable. Most of the time, CC and sustain isn’t usually a problem for it - it’s just a Pokemon where the more you “win” with it, the more you get out of it.
I think the only buffs Blaziken needs in the near + distant future is to its early game. I want a little distance buff and/or cooldown buff on aerial ace and a decent damage buff on ember so it has more consistent last-hitting. Other than that, Blaziken is fine. It has all of the tools in its kit that it needs to dominate if used properly
I agree with all of you and blaziken is fine as it is but only when you have teammates who atleast know what to do. In solo queue we all can agree that our enemies play together more often than our own team and that's where Blaziken lacks.
I really like the idea of the top of the video having like, a brief explanation of what the build is meant to do, i.e what the win con is, what the build is designed to do (scoring, invading, exp, engage, etc.) Would be really good to follow the action, knowing what the intent was!
The explanation in the beginning was great, things like small mon specific tecs or explanation on how some held itens work are a huge help to new player as you have helped me a ton. If i see some instructions on what i already know i will just skip, no harm done ❤
I’ve been playing Blaziken since he dropped and I was determined to learn him cause he’s my all time favorite, So I kinda know all the tech you can do with him and whatnot. Love the fact that you used the stacking items along with razor claw cause that’s my exact setup and I love it so much! Anyway I love that Blaze Kick just shoves enemies and farm whichever direction you want them to cause when trying to get farm you can just take away the birds and have them all to yourself, and you can shove enemies either away or to your pad so they’ll be easier to take down! Also Nice Focus blast snipe on that hoopa! 👍🏻
I'm kinda surprised that people don't know that combo. But i think it's nice to overlay the strat you're going for in the video or a "did you know" type thing in the top of the video.

I think that the Master achievment for Blaziken(160-ish ko's within 4 seconds of using your unite) is actually very easy...mostly because I did it...but I digress
To all the blaziken mains - TRY OUT THE CHARGING CHARM ON IT Just used it for the first time on blazi and did easy over 100k damage (won) while my teammates were doing typical solo queue stuff 😂
Charm is bait honestly. Razor is generally more consistent with very similar damage outputs and a slow. There’s not much difference at all. (Tested both when Charm came out)
I'm a weight/cookie/muscle Blaziken user. I especially love the extra rip you get on objectives. I remember trying razor and not feeling like I did much, but I might try razor or charm soon
Metagross absolutely does *not* need a buff. Still needs a Unite rework, though. Buzzwole on the other hand, I think it's way stronger than people give it credit for and fighting against it is awful. Don't touch Metagross (unless it's the Unite move), nerf Buzzwole 🙏
