    Hey brotha glad to see you finished the new kit, can’t wait to see some running videos. Glad you kept the metal washers on the pins for arms. They are there to protect the pills from the rubbing of the arms. Noticed you said you have them at the B & C block. Just make sure you have them in front of the D block so as car moves forward and arm pushes back it’s against washer.

    • @BuggyBrentRC
      @BuggyBrentRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Whats up CJ! thanks for the tip! the washer at the D and B blocks makes sense now. i never understood the washers purpose. i may have goofed and had the washers at the c block when i first built it. i just looked at the car now and i do have it at the d block now. lol . I've had a few practice days on the buggy and im loving it over the mp9 so far. i gotta get my butt out there and race now and have fun!

    Hey bud I’m at work and don’t have a ton of time to watch this video. But first of all congratulations on the build. Second, how do you route your fuel lines? I’m trying to find a way to mount the lines closer to the tank in my mp9 tki3, and up and away from the pipe instead of the stock kyosho routing method that pushes that fuel line right up against the fat part of the pipe. Really scratching my head, not sure I’m having problems with the way my lines are routed but I’d like to keep them away from the hot stuff as much as possible. Any input would be appreciated brother! This will be my next kit, looking forward to seeing how you like it 👍

    • @BuggyBrentRC
      @BuggyBrentRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you Jeremy ! On the mp9 I glued 2 line holders right above the exhaust pipe . I routed the feed line from tank to carb on the upper side of the line holder . I run the pressure line from pipe to tank on the lower side of the line holder . I personally like to keep my lines as short as possible and I don’t like fuel filters because they tend to leak . If you need pictures find me on face book buggy Brent and I can send some pics of my line routing on my tki4 . With the tki2 I have a new way of running the line that I have not tried yet ! So I need to do some testing ! Mp10tki2 cars the new body hugs the tank where I cant run my mp9 style fuel line touting . Sorry for the late responses . TH-cam has been bad with notifications lately . Hope this helps. Any other questions you got I will be glad to try and help !

      @@BuggyBrentRC thanks buddy it does help a bunch. Unfortunately I don’t use Facebook bro but if you see this, what kind of glue did you use and did it hold up to the rigors of nitro fuel and racing and stuff? I basically have my fuel lines routed just like you did, minus the holders glued to the tank so they kind of just float above the pipe, and with the body on my pressure line touches the pipe a bit but my fuel line is still clear of it. I’ll look into gluing the holders to the tank, I’d really like to keep any fuel lines away from the burning hot pipe for reliability purposes. Thanks again for the response buddy, appreciate it!

      @@jeremywilliamsrc8797 awesome good stuff . Sounds like your on the right track . I use proline CA tire glue to mount the fuel line holders . Wipe the area clean where your going to glue the holders . Once the CA glue holds and bonds it does really well holding up against the fuel . An alternative to proline CA glue is the Loctite super glue professional . It’s a CA glue as well and works extreme well. You can buy that at homedepot

    I love my new mp10 tki2 as well ,Ive taken it on the track just for a little practice session. It is so much different than the MP9 in my opinion. But a good different.I also have the body to do myself as well as my new MP10e body to do I just built that as well. Spending up all the money

    • @BuggyBrentRC
      @BuggyBrentRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      awesome! i agree its different. to me it handles so much better on high grip. its more stable through the turn at high speeds. but on loose loamy track it feels like my mp9. so im super happy with it so far. thats awesome you got both kits! the mp10e looks like a good car. i personally like the two batteries . it make sense with weight distribution

      @@BuggyBrentRC Yeah right on man so far I actually took it to the track tonight I'm going to post a video later. Got to figure out the setup a little bit better cuz it was you know a whole new setup and a whole new car. But other than that I'm extremely impressed and excited for getting it tuned in I think it's going to be a rocket. Along with the TKI2 both machines are amazing!

    your arms binding when tightening your abcd blocks is cause by the pills not being completely inserted into the blocks.

    I have another question for you. I see you have mp9 tki4 body on mp10. Is mp10 body compatible with mp9 tki4? Or fit with difficult ? Greetings from Italy !

    • @BuggyBrentRC
      @BuggyBrentRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The mp10 body will fit the mp9 . I don’t recommend the mp10 tki2 body on the mp9 . The tki2 body really limits the ability to run fuel lines any other way other than kanais way . But technically the mp10 tki2 body will fit mp9 as well

  • @Alessandro72X

    Sorry, what about the 2 clips for tubing on the left side of fuel tank ? Is an optional or you have used glue?

    • @BuggyBrentRC
      @BuggyBrentRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      With the tki2 body I couldn’t glue the fuel line holders to the tank . The tki2 body hugs the tank . Glueing line holders is optional . I prefer the line holders if I could use them!

      @@Alessandro72X of you glue the holders with a good CA glue and the tank surface clean. You will not have an issue . I had 1 holder come off on me 1 time but I didn’t spend the time to prep the surface of the tank . It takes an hour or so for the holder to bond to the tank .
