It’s really inspiring to see you shredding with your kids man! My son just turned 5, and I am doing my best to let him come into his own, but I am stoked to be able to share moments like this with him as his coordination increases and he learns more and more. Being a Father is a rad job and experience, every day I am in awe of this little human growing, learning and experiencing. I am building my first MTB at the moment and looking forward to hitting some trails, Ogden Bike Park is like 10 mins away from me. 🤘

Favorite part @4:45 “I have the biggest smile on my face … watching you interpret and slay this trail” … I really hope my kid progress and get into MTB to share moments like that. This video was nostalgic seeing Some of the places of my youth.

Trials, trails, amazing riding and #dadgoals all in one, this is peak biking right here! Even had a cameo from @Super Rider in there. Looks like Milo had fun riding at the shred spot and then continued to hit every little feature he spotted whether it was on a trail or not! Stoked!!!

The mountain you were looking at on the ridge is Mt.Adams and it is 12,280 ft and it is also an active volcano.

What’s great is that you don’t need to be an mtb pro, you just need to share your love of the sport with your kids. And if they’re not into it, find something they love to bond through. I have one son who is all about mtb. The other, not so much. But he loves backpacking so that’s our thing. Keep up the good work Eric!

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! It's hard to make a living and do everything you have to as well as spend enough time with the kids, I feel that way too. All we can do is try our best to make it happen, they grow up fast!

Beautiful up there. I travel Oregon all summer for my kayak business, but rarely do I get to have my bike. I’m changing that after seeing this video.
The rivers there are incredible too, but you definitely need to ride some of these trails!!

Next time you guys come to Oregon you have to ride black rock located just outside of falls city Oregon ! You will not regret it, it’s my favorite mtb spot!
We really wanted to ride blackrock but it was shut down the weekend we were in Oregon for maintenance! Next time we'll hit it for sure.
I live in Oregon and I can confidently say the coast is 99% of the time cold and foggy but camping there is worth while
That's what I figured, we had heavy fog on the coast in the morning till it burned off. I would love to spend more time there and camp!

Love this. There is also a city bus that’ll pick you and your bike up from sandy and take you to government camp on hood. The single track all the way back. Nice $2 dollar shuttle

Great video. I'm from the PNW and just relocated to SLC. It's fun to see the trails (and crazy weather patterns) that I rode for years through your guys eye. Post and Sandy are 2 of the best places to ride and never disappoint.

I live in Oregon and I'm so glad you liked it! When you come back you should definitely check out some of the trails and resorts in Bend Oregon. Also Idaho is one of my favorite places to mountain bike! I think you should do a trip their too!

'Gotta ride wheelies on bridges when you can' Last time I was riding on a bridge I tried that, and messed up my foot when looping out and I bailed at a weird angle and had a hard impact - on a completely flat bridge and flat trail. One day I'll get wheelies. Great video and loved seeing you out there with your son.
Nooooo!! If it makes you feel any better, I hopped on a friend's bike the other day who is from Australia, they run their brakes moto style so front brake on the right hand, I popped a wheelie not knowing this and looped out straight to my tailbone in a crowded parking lot!!

What an awesome trip! Milo looks to be about the same age as my youngest boy who has yet to fully embrace my passion for disappearing into the woods on bikes. The few times we have though are some of my most valuable memories. Great video!!
Milo is 12, it's been really fun getting out riding with him. Glad you've been able to experience that as well, you never know what path kids will take and anything I get to do with the kids is special, they grow up too fast!!
Consider a stop at Blackrock out of Falls City this year. Banzai and Sickter Gnar are fantastic well maintained trails.
Next time you go to mt hood you have to stop in government camp and get milkshakes at huckleberry inn they are sooooo good.

Wow Oregon looks fantastic I love the Mountain Bike trails they look sick. And the nice looking views of the mountains etc . Makes me want to go travelling and take my mountain bike to check out these trails but I don’t think you are aloud to take E mountain bikes on the Plane. Looking forward to watching your next video

Ah man Eric, you guys are inspiring. Milo is getting to be quite the ripper! I wish my son had the fire to start sending jumps like Milo (and yeah, like I did when I was younger) but I also recognize he has to live his own life and be his own person with his own passions (although he can definitely rip down hill when he wants to!). Eh, I can't complain though. He did in fact send a gigantic gap well before I did a few months ago so maybe it's a latent gene 😀

It's so weird seeing you ride trails in my area. Post Canyon is a sick place especially for shuttling. I've done it plenty of times. Also, that mountain at 4:12 is probably Adams. It's 12,278 ft. You can climb it and snowboard down from the summit. I've summited but have yet to snowboard there. The PNW is awesome.
I love riding up there, so many fun trails! Definitely wanna go ride volcanos too!!

Great video! We live in the Portland area and have ridden all those places except Oakridge. We are also scheduled for a session with coach Robbie soon! We met him at some food trucks and he saw my son's Berm Peak shirt and handed us his card.
We aren't nearly as good as you and Milo so it's awesome to see what those trails look like at speed and getting some air.
Next time try to find a Ruby Jewel ice cream sandwich. Those are awesome.

Thanks!! So many great places to ride, we need so much more time in Oregon! If you go to Oakridge, try to get a shuttle from Trans Cascadia or someone, the rides there are big and the climbs would be really long, it's amazing though!! We'll definitely look out for Ruby Jewel next time too!
