- Hey Guys! Welcome back to Lush Aqua. In this video, I feature one of the most naturally talented fish breeders I have met, Mr. Luis D’Cruz. Luis is the 1st fish breeder to have successfully bred stingrays in India. He was kind enough to share his knowledge as well as show us all the freshwater stingrays he currently has in his massive stingray breeding setup in Margao, Goa. Lush Aqua would like to thank Luis for his hospitality and all the insights he shared regarding this beautiful species of fish.

Diet of the Stingrays at Luis’s Farm:
Shrimp (De-headed)
Water Change Schedule:
Daily: 30%
Weekly Once: 75%

Please Note:
Stingrays are exotic fish that are highly venomous. Always be careful while maintaining a tank with stingrays in it. This fish is not for every hobbyist. If stingrays are not handled with extreme care or if you don’t give your full attention during maintenance, it could lead to an extremely painful sting with a razor sharp barb it has at the end of its tail. Please be careful.
