      @@copwatchnl2618 it could be that since Walmart is notoriously cheap, the company didn't have adequate staff in her bakery.
      The fact the police are saying her death was "sudden" is literally a lie since it would have taken her at least three minutes to be baked to death.

      It doesn't matter to them if they do or don't sell enough. It doesn't even matter if they can't physically find room on the shelf, it's your task to find a way. If you can't do that, it goes in the back and the manager will go ask your co-worker to drag it back out and find a way, too. It's an exercise in neuroticism.
      Basically the issue here is no human being is placing orders it's all automated. They CAN force a halt in shipping, but they really do not want to have to resort to that if at ALL possible. Store computer decides based on sales data how much of what all to order.
      Basically you are either sorting skids or your pulling skids out of the back and trying to put them out, and this process does not stop. Ever. They are indeed, moving them back and forth all night.

    Global news want to report my dads death? He worked for a big oil company, got an infection likely from work, but it was their negligence of not sending him to the hospital soon enough while his organs was literally shutting down while he was at his workplace medical centre? They made him take the bus home and by the time he got to the walk in clinic and the doctor there told him to go to the hospital, he later passed away because he didn’t get there in time. He was septic while at the med centre and they didn’t even tell him to go to the hospital.

And that’s not even all what happened. They cut his life insurance in half as well. They changed his pension what he had the same pension for 40 years. And then one of the bosses out there who didn’t like my dad and who I never met, took this as an opportunity to come after me and fire me for no cause. He was after me the past 5 years because I was a contractor and my dad worked directly for the client. I am sure you could guess what site this is since they had 13 other passings before where the CEO stepped down. I also reported this to the Alberta government and they refuse to even look into it, let alone pretend to investigate. This is yet another example of the “jobs Canadians wont do”. I remember in hs them telling us about workplace safety and to refuse unsafe work bc of this exact situation that happened to teen worker in the 80’s. Now this is the new norm, if Canadians dont accept these enforced dangerous working consitions bc the employer discreetly refuses to obey the labour laws, then they fire ppl and get TFWs who dont know the laws or their rights. This is why Canadians are refusing work more and more. Nothing to do with “laziness”, thats what they say when you refuse to endanger your life for min wage, that doesn’t even pay rent let alone any other necessities…

    • @XetaXones
      @XetaXones 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Blaming “jobs Canadians won’t do” on dangerous working conditions is just a convenient excuse to justify an entitled mindset. If you genuinely believe employers are breaking labor laws, take action-report them. But don’t lump every job into that category just because some people refuse to work hard. It’s not about safety for most; it’s about people turning their noses up at jobs they think are beneath them. Calling it “not laziness” when people avoid honest work, even when it’s not life-threatening, is laughable. Complaining about wages while sitting on the sidelines won’t change anything-hard work and initiative will.

    These types of ovens DO NOT lock or latch closed-there's absolutely no way someone could get locked inside. The police ruled out foul play, so the most likely scenario is an electrical ground fault on the oven that electrocuted her when she touched it. These ovens run on 208-220 volts, more than enough to kill someone. Electrical faults like this can happen accidentally or from lack of maintenance, and you can bet this will be thoroughly investigated!

    So much awful speculation is going on here. I work as a baker and with this same type of oven. They are incredibly dangerous, and oftentimes, the door will start slowly closing on you. There is no safety latch to exit. How would you use it if there was and you had no oven mitts on? I imagine walmart has some explaining to do, but let's allow the police the space to do their job and find out what actually happened.

      I'm not sure how others couldn't turn off the oven,seems impossible to me and unlikely anyone would have heard her screaming. No, the oven was turned on! In 3 minutes it would be at easily 350°. She screamed & banged on the door. Other employees were trying to turn off the oven & break the door down. They even tried to shut down the power. Obviously not an accident.
