Is the engine sound normal for sedan segment b car? Cus I've been driving hilux since the beginning so I can't comprehend the complaints that people are talking about. I need to know as I'm planning to get sedan this time.
Engine wise i think it's almost the same so no comment. I'm just curious bout the cabin noise insulation, engine noise, etc. Is it better compared to previous generation?
Hi, in terms of cabin insulation, we think it's an improvement over the previous generation with foamed filled sections of the chassis. Overall noise levels are low except during hard acceleration as you've seen from this video. Driven sedately and everything settles down for a rather relaxing driving experience. At a steady 60 km/h, the engine spins at just above idle rpm. It might be the quietest B-sedan, but we'll come back to this when we have the car for an extended test drive and conduct our instrumented tests. Stay tuned to WapCar.my. Cheers!
Not the quickest steering around but from what we were told, it's reduced from 3.5 turns lock-to-lock to 2.8 (if our memory serves correctly, don't quote us on this 🙈), and does feel more direct than before.
i just test drive it ytd, it doesnt feel like a myvi lol. the noise insulation and suspension/handling is next level. But the rear cabin is smaller than myvi. if u plan to fetch 3-4 passenger constantly may not be a good car.

Hurray to telescopic steering! now vios owners don’t need to have neck and back pains during long drives. engine is still very noisy and gutless. would be interesting to see if the Axia is as fast as the vios. The myvi is already faster than vios
@@muaf8374 yup. But the vios is almost double the price of myvi. And vios competitors like city, mazda2, vento, all comparable in acceleration to the latest myvi while being 100kg heavier.
yeah im agree with ya.. torque and power are also reduced a little but this new vios is getting better at saving fuel compared to the old vios. but the City Rs cannot be beaten in fuel economy
I don't care whether it's old or new technologies. I'd rather have the old vios gearbox than this Akashi Kikai one. They already have lots of problems for 4AT gearbox at myvi and bezza cars
