Me acaban de dar una cameo 4 pero no tengo idea de cómo empezar para no cagarla y romperla o algo jaja Llevo todo el día viendo videos y el tuyo es definitivamente el mejor y el más claro para lo que necesito hacer. Gracias!
Thank you so much for your video, I found it very informative, it helped me a lot. I am going to try clear varnish on the design to help it last longer when being washed.
If I wash my mug or put it on the microwave. Will it mess up completely?. And also is there any other material that can withstand being washed or put in the microwave?
Hi, when working with adhesive vinyl you should avoid the microwave and dishwasher. If you want something where you don’t have issues with these I’ll recommend sublimation.
Me encanta como enseña. Soy principiante en esto y con mucho respeto pregunto es cierto que estas tazas no se pueden usar e microondas. Son sólo decoración.
I don't own this machine and plan on purchasing one but did you use the heat press to put on the decal? i assume you purposely left that out but im not too sure because i saw other use the heat press. Please help me understand. Thank you.
Hi, I'm using adhesive vinyl for this material; you don't need a heat-press. Check my video about the differences between adhesive vinyl and Heat Transfer vinyl.
Hi, for this cut I bought a design front Silhouette Store, there you can buy design, fonts, etc. You can also make your own designs using Silhouette Studio.
Hi, I don't recommend using HTV on a mug; I know you will find some videos with people doing it, but for me, it's not a suitable material, and it's a waste of time.
@@AvantiMorocha1 thank you so much for your reply and comment regarding the HTV, I must admit I did try it but like you said it wasn't at all successful. I am awaiting a delivery of the correct vinyl 😁 x
I love this video. This will be my first project I will do. I just opened my cameo 4 and a little intimidated. I have the business edition. Could you show a video on how to use the program. I tried to cut glitter cardstock with the auto blade and the suggested speed force etc isn’t working and I tried different settings but no luck. Which blade is beat for glitter cardstock ? I want to make cake toppers out of this material and also regular cardstock. Could you help and also maybe do a video on cake toppers. Thank you so much!!
thanks for your video but i just want to ask how we can add fonds to silhouette fom web? i just download to pc but idontknow howi will add to silhouette studio
Yes, you can try using the mod podge dishwasher safe. Manufacturer recommends only using on products that will not be put in mouth. It says it may be used on mugs, etc. 2 inches below the rim.
Hi, it won't come out if you wash it by hand. This is not a permanent method but it'll last a long time if you give it the proper care, only hand wash and avoid using the microwave.
Too fast ? I thought she spoke well slow enough to catch on. There are so many videos out there that not only ramble through but are also not as thorough as how to from A to Z and not M to Z !
You Were So Helpful & Thorough & Your Accent Is AMAZING!
Thank you, you're sweet. I don't usually get compliments for my accent. 😉♥️
I really liked the way you explain. This is just what I was looking for! Bravo!!! 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Following along as you made your design was extremely helpful to me. Thank you!!

Is there a way to make it permanent and dishwasher-proof?
I like to know it too

Hola, yo uso este tipo de taza todo el tiempo porque tomo bastante té, pero solo la lavo a mano y no la pongo en el microondas.
Thank you so much for the tutorial. It was hugely helpful

what accessories did you use ??
Hi, I used the weeding and scraper tools.
Do you have to pay for the font and style? Like the words on the cup
Hi, for this cut I bought a design front Silhouette Store, there you can buy design, fonts, etc. You can also make your own designs using Silhouette Studio.
Hi Avanti, I've got many rolls of heat transfer glitter vinyl, can I use this type of vinyl to decorate mugs etc.. Lorraine

Hi, Thank you for your video, is very useful, I have just one question. How do you set up the ruler bar on the Silhouette Studio....
Thank you very much for sharing this video. Do you use a heat press to press the logo to the cup?
Hi, no, I'm used adhesive viny. You don't need a heatpress when using this material.
You mean I can make my own cute mug instead of buying those cheap chippable mugs from dollar tree? Wow!!
Correct 😊
Well explained..thank you
You’re welcome 😉
I just ordered a Silhouette 4. Does the tool you are using come with it?
Hi, check this video th-cam.com/video/kLaGNXUfrOI/w-d-xo.html

Hi, for glitter cardstock you should use the deep cut blade.
Avanti Morocha Thank you. Your the first person I’ve seen that makes it simple for me to understand. Looking forward to more videos!!!
Is the deep cut blade not for the cameo 4 ? Only up to the cameo 3 according to silhouette America website
So would you not reccomend selling these since you said it's not permanent?
You could sell them, but I recommend adding a tag with care and instructions, wash only by hand and don’t use the microwave.
Thank you so much !! You were so helpful i already made one...
You're welcome 😊❤️
im looking to use this exact vynl onto balloins , can you givs me any tips ? thanks x
Hi, I would recommend using removable vinyl instead of permanent vinyl.
What material can you use that is allowable in the microwave?
Hi, Infusible Ink
Did u use iron to heat the vinyl.
Hi, no, this is adhesive vinyl not heat transfer vinyl.
@@AvantiMorocha1 thank u for your kind reply. Is that the right term? Adhesive vinyl?
thanks for your video but i just want to ask how we can add fonds to silhouette fom web? i just download to pc but idontknow howi will add to silhouette studio
Hi, you need to install the font on your computer, Silhouette will read all your system fonts.
Hi! How do you register your decal? Thank you in advance!!
Hi. I'm not sure what do you mean?
hello this is so beautiful!!! can that be in a mug machine?
Hi, I'm not sure what you mean by mug machine? If you're talking about a heat press for mug, you don't need one when using adhesive vinyl.
@@AvantiMorocha1 ok. i gotit. but what about when the cap is wash?
Awesome video, Thanks!
You're welcome :)
Thank you for your easy to follow steps! Have you ever tried sealing the mug with Mod Podge? I’m not sure if it will work on making it permanent.
Hi, I haven't tried it, but I don't think so. If you're looking how to make a permanent design you will need to use sublimation.
Do you have a link to where you purchased the plain white mug?
Hi, I got it a long time ago at the clearance section of Target.
all those bubbles
That was so helpful thank u 💛
You're welcome :)
Can u use mod podge to go over the mug so the letters could last longer ?
Yes, you can try using the mod podge dishwasher safe. Manufacturer recommends only using on products that will not be put in mouth. It says it may be used on mugs, etc. 2 inches below the rim.
Q maquina recomienda mas cameo o cricut
Hola, las dos máquinas son muy buenas, al final es cuestión de preferencia. Revisa este video th-cam.com/video/Eb0ZQ4a-yCI/w-d-xo.html
Hi, is this sticker come out after wash the cup ?
Hi, it won't come out if you wash it by hand. This is not a permanent method but it'll last a long time if you give it the proper care, only hand wash and avoid using the microwave.
What is this printer name and brand?
Is the silhouette compatible with Adobe illustrator?
Hi, you can create your designs in Illustrator and upload them to Silhouette Studio.
Thank you for this video!
You're welcome 😊
What if your letters stick to the transfer tape and not the mug? We wiped the mug with alcohol first to make sure it was clean.
Hi, wipping it with alcohol shouldn't be a problem. Are you using permanent adhesive vinyl?
@@AvantiMorocha1 yes. And we used a hair dryer on low setting, as was suggested by a friend.
@@kimberlyreilly5710 I'll skip the hairdryer.
