- The high plains of Kosciuszko National Park never fail to evoke a unique array of emotions within me. Several times, I found myself pondering the source of this distinctive feeling. After embarking on this solo camping expedition, the answer has become clear - it's the profound sense of vast emptiness that sets Kosciuszko high plains apart from other regions in Australia. This journey takes you deep into the wilderness, where I opted not for the comfort of an established campsite but embraced the true essence of wild camping. Join me in unraveling the untouched beauty and solitude of this remarkable landscape.
Equipped with three camera setups-two for filming and one dedicated to timelapse photography-my intention is singular: to immerse you in the captivating solitude of solo camping and the profound emptiness of the wilderness. Join me in capturing the essence of this unique experience through the lens of multiple perspectives.

Superb photography much appreciated, loved the landscape and the changing colours and light.
Thanks for tuning in and enjoy the views together! The fast changing light conditions kept me really busy, but I feel blessed when I carefully documented them through the lenses.

Wow you really have good eyesight! I hope they came back to camp with some catchings. 😂
Your eyes are like a magnifying glass 😮😮😮😮😮
Hey, would love to know roughly where this is in the National park? Would love to check it out one day!
Sure mate, I camped along the Four Mile Trail, and the entrance is at Sawyer’s Hut on Snowy Mountain Hwy.

Where did you get your camping knife from? And what brand is it?
Hi thanks for watching! It's Winchester Bowie Knife, I bought it from Anaconda in Australia.
The High Plains?? Or the High Country???
High plains, according to the national park website. I guess ‘high country’ often refers to the alps within Victoria?
What brand tarp are you using?
Hey thanks for watching! It’s a random brand on Amazon, which is not available anymore. The size is 3*3.7m, and it has 5 tie points on each side, costs about 35 Australian dollars. You will definitely find alternatives. The poles are not included, they were made of steel, bought separately from a local store.
