Your last two vids with the Vic have been awesome! My '17 Vegas has some tilt to it on the stand, the new pad will pick it up a little. Victory was a well built, reliable bike with plenty of power! Stay on it!
That kickstand flex is normal for a lot of bikes. Like how Harley has the JIFFY stand where it flexes to engage a lock to prevent it rolling up. Indian / Victory never did that though. Maybe the suspension was changed. Strange.
The Victory kickstands are famous for their flex and potential for failure. The Victory Police Cross Country had a upgraded beefy kickstand, I have one on my old XC and plan to swap over to the new low mileage XC. Before you remove kickstand, insert dimes into spring coil when it's extended to keep it stretched. Also the Police Heavy Duty kickstand has the pivot bolt go up verses down, making install much easier. I don't know if the Witchdoctor's versions do that. New pucks are also on Witchdoctor's.
Add one nylon washer to the bottom side of the kickstand. I ride a 2016 Cross Country Magnum Suade White with Black and Grey stripes, haven't had that problem yet, good luck
Replace that mono shock with a Penske shock, talk to Scott Kietzmann at Conquest Customs and he will do you right. If there was only 1 mod on a Victory i could choose from, it would be the Penske shock upgrade.
The Magnum has a taller front tire than the standard Cross Country, that alone will increase the lean, along with the higher pressure in the rear shock .
You didn't show yourself with glasses on when you were cutting and grinding with the Dremel. Even if you were, invincible younger people need to see that and reinforce that. Ride safe..
Hey Brandon quick question not pertaining to this video.. I recently changed my own oil on my Indian chief bobber dark horse and put 6 quarts of oil .. I was told by a friend I put too much so I siphoned half a quart … do u know how muck oil I should be putting ?
Gotta go off what the owner’s manual says. It depends on how much oil comes out. Should be around 5-6 quarts tho. If it’s on the dipstick in the right place, shouldn’t matter fr.
My Vision tilts pretty far over too. I got a hockey puck pad for the foot of the stand from Witchdoctors, that helped a bit

That is such a sweet fairing. It's easy to see the influence of Arlen Ness on all these bikes.

Finallyyyy
I’m caught up on your videos
I fell behind and omg bro you make such good videos and sooo dang many!!!
I see now Brandon, that you never run out things to do in your garage.
I also suggest a cordless “multitool”
Ones that have the metal blade that vibrates back and forth
Absolute godsend for doing work like that

Hi Brandon, present for the lesson.
It’s official. I’m taking Brandon on a road trip. He really needs to get out that garage 🎉
Haha, I'm enjoying it besides the heat.
Coming together well 👍
Salute Bradda
Another good video; best wishes!
magnums also have lower suspension. witchdoctors has replacement kickstand pads 😯😯 use a vice to fix the bracket back there
Thinking I'll go that pad route for suer.

Fair point!
I have watched cracks like those being repaired on TH-cam using fiberglass matting and a soldering gun. There's a flat tip for plastic.
My Victory Kickstand was straight. There was absolutely zero bend!!! I think both of yours are damaged.
Do you have any before pics of the Victory bike?
Put washer on both sides of the bolt that goes through the kickstand
I considered that. It’s supposed to have some flex to it. Will add a puck to it.
Is it hard to find parts for Victory Motorcycles or is there enough new old stock and aftermarket stock kicking around that it's doable?
I buy extra victory parts even tho I don’t need them…yet

@@BrandonBicasso thanks brotha
Did you say that the spring was $70, or did I not hear you correctly? Looks like a piss poor design for the kickstand...
You heard correct.
@@BrandonBicasso Man for my Harley it was between $9-15. I changed just because the bike is 12 years old, kept the old one for tool kit on bike...
