I have one. Motor wasn't working when I got missing body and wing and throttle servo. And plastic side guards. Tried selling but kept getting 100 offers. So I stripped off everything nitro and in progress of converting to brushless. Glad I seen this video and comments now I know the hyper 8 conversion kit will work. Awesome
Awesome! My hyper 7 iz still going. Its on its second engine but other than that i have never broken anything on it. Toughest basher i have had. Had it for 12 years.
Cheap and readily available you mean theres loads on the used market with botched repairs and as for being indestructible the chassis uses a weak 6061 as oppose to stronger 7075 aluminium and due to the lack of a front to back upper frame rail the chassis can bend and flex

Now am I saying that a hyper 7 is tougher than a new tekno kit well obviously not... But you put 400$ worth of upgrades on that hyper 7 I'll bet money it'll take the same abuse that 700 tekno kit takes

allinone 1 you might be able to find one on ebay. Due to its age it may be hard to get one though. I bought mine at least 12 years ago. Had it nunning on nitro up to about a year ago and bought a hyper 8 electric conversion kit from usa and trackstar esc and motor combo from hobbyking

Hyper7 is one of the top 5 bashers ever things are nearly indestructible & can do so many things with it

andrew mccluskey yeah bud. One of the ball joints in the hub some how tightened and that was the end of the steering. Loosened it off and all good
