I said the same thing when I first bought this gun. This was not going to be an everyday carry, but if every since I got it, shot it, I've been carrying it every day. it's moved pasted a lot of the other firearms I have. but I won't carry it in the winter.
If it helps anybody, the Bodyguard 2.0 will fit the original Bodyguard holsters perfectly. Also, you don't need fancy pants 380 ammo. Regular 95 grain hardball works perfectly to poke holes in important things.
Are you sure about the holster fitting? I have had my 2.0 for over a month (love it) and have purchased two holsters (1 kydex from Gunners and 1 leather from Muddy River) that I'm not super happy with. Limited options for the 2.0 since it's so new and have been hesitant to waste money purchasing a 3rd holster. Ideally, I'l like a kydex/ plastic trigger gurad holster to keep it minimal, but raven concealment nor essential holsters has made one yet and not sure they will. Any help you can give on the holster front would be grateful, thank you
@@Joeak74 Thank you. I hadn't heard of Pegasus before. The slim-tuk model actually shows to have one for the 2.0 so I got one ordered. Checked a few other models and didn't see any of the others even offering the original, but all good. Appreciate the help!
I bought mine and was surprised by the absolute zero recoil. LCP max still had a lot of recoil for the caliber. It’s all about how high you can get your hand on the gun.
Another great video Joe. When you get a chance you should check out mine at the 3:50 min mark 😉. I'm really enjoying this badboy. Stay blessed and stay safe or be dangerous
The Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 is THE BEST designed and manufactured micro-subcompact 380 in the last 40 plus years. I have the Sig 365 9mm, Sig 238, Ruger LCP Max, Regular LCP, et. I own many. Ruger should just stop manufacturing the LCP Max all together. The sig 365 (9mm) is the best micr 9mm, but the S&W Bodyguard 2.0 is half the weigh, thinner, over all smaller and easier to shoot that the Sig 365. You can keep the Sig. This new Bodyguard 2.0 beats ALL THE OTHERS in EVERY CATEGORY! Bar none! All of these smallpistol require a small amount of break in INCLUDING the Sigs. I have 400 plus rounds through mine. About 4 mags loosened mine up perfectly. It even shoots the "Seargeant Major" zinc plated steel case (tula) ammo like candy! I never feel outgunned or under gunned with this new Bodyguard 2.0 i I use it as a primary carry and rotate it out for my Ruger LCR revolver. S&W gave they're customers what they have been asking for. On a side note, it puts the Glock 42 in the dirt on size and capacity. The 380 cartridge is plenty to stop an attacker in my opinion. You don't need fancy pants ammo either 95 grain hard ball anything does the job just fine. I want to poke holes in important body parts. I don't care about expansion. Don't fall for all the BS of dudes on you tube that are fully kitted out telling you a 380 isn't something to worry about. S&W gets an 11 out of 10 from me.
@Joeak74 I've only got 100 through and today had 2 light primer strikes and I'm not loving the trigger (hoping Apex fixes that) , also if you drop a round in the chamber and drop the slide it won't go into battery 🤔 I have to put mag in drop slide take mag out put a round in mag. So far, I'm at 7/10 but plan on putting another 100 tomorrow, hopefully breaks in. Thanks for your comment 🙏

*Only interested in the most minimal option with a belt clip
@@jrh1704 The Desantis Pegasus for the 1.0 fits the 2.0 just fine

I’ve heard great things about this firearm. I’m definitely tuned in! 👀
Great unboxing video Joe and I really appreciate the shout-out
