We went to LFK Spring of 2022. It was AMAZING! We didn't know anything about the owners dispute until we got there, but had we not heard someone talking about it, we never would have known. Absolutely the best service, drinks, food and waiters anywhere. The manager came up and took pictures with us and gave us his phone number for when we want to come back. Our favorite excursion ever!!! Booked thru LFK directly! The water was super clear, warm and turquoise color when we went. Highly recommend.
I went to Little French Key with my grand daughters in 2019 on the Harmony of the Seas We had an amazing time there. And We went in December and the water was great. Definitely want to go back there. So happy you two had a good time.
Oh goodness. LFK used to look much better. The water was clear and turquoise. I heard there’s been govt activities happening with LFK and nothing the owners can do. It was a beautiful full of people place a couple of years ago. Glad you all had a great time.
The Price is Right is always played that way on the Prima. They pick new passengers for every game so more people can be involved. My friend was selected for the Showcase Showdown and won a 55"" TV. He took the cash option instead. It was fun!
In spite of the rain you still had a wonderful time! I would love to be there when it’s a gorgeous, sunny day and lots of people having fun on all the chairs and teeter totter’s and wonderful things to do and relax!
Y'all are brave, Honduras just declared state of emergency so I'm not sure if you were there at that time or right before, but wow. I won't ever be going outside of the port in Roatan until they figure out the gang stuff going on. I'm glad you were safe and were able to come back to the ship without issue.
There's a big difference between Honduras the mainland and Roatan the island. I would imagine that the island is very touristy and doesn't have the drug and gang problem that the mainland has. I think you're safe in Roatan.
Going on the prima 😊 but if you were only going to visit Rotan once what is the number one thing you would recommend. I definitely want to see sloths but is there a best way or way to do lots of thing including sloths?
I’d say either a tour with Roatan Five Stars that usually takes you to AJ’s, which is the one we vlogged with the bonus guinea pigs recently. Daniel Johnson’s is also another good bet if you’re mostly into visiting sloths and monkeys in Roatan.

All the negativity towards Honduras is stupid. There's crime all over the world and nearly everywhere you go. Just be smart and you don't have to worry about. If you are destined to become a crime victim, nothing you do is going to stop it. People are terrified of their own shadows.
We’ve never had any issues with meeting vendors just outside the port. There’s usually security right at the gate, and the vendors are literally steps away. We always research our tour companies and make sure they’ve been doing good business for a while, but totally understandable that it may be outside the comfort level for some folks!! :D
I’m sorry but that is not a place to keep animals like that. I was shocked. I know it’s not something you can do anything about, but you hemmed and hawed about what you saw. They may have been nice, but that place has long seen its “glory days”.

The animals looked like their soul was disappearing. If they really were worried about providing a rescue for these animals they would n't parade them in a display that isn't even close to their natural environment for tourists. I actually had this booked last year until I read about there being caged animals. I cancelled it .

Being to Roatan multiple times. Always with a cruise excursio. I’ll never step out of the port like that, crazy and very risky

No, that appears to have been settled in court recently, with Larissa Krupp declared as the rightful owner.
