yes, the zip-tie allows you to have something to loop the battery strap through until we get a purpose built 95mm frame that is not designed around the carbon fiber bottom plate
I'm doing a similar build, but with 1204 6500kv motors. I have the 85x 4k tarsier canopy, and a tarsier v2, but I'm putting it all on a 95x frame. I'm hoping the bigger prop will carry the tarsier a lot better than the 2" props. And I plan on running 3s.
really awsome buld :) i have 85 pro 2 and the video of this build really had me stoked on doing the same thing :))) just wondering what is the affect on the p/w ration and on the flight time compared to the 85
The link is in the video description 👍🏽 I also added a link to washers which come in very handy for adjusting any screw length to make them the perfect length for any application
Yes! Just used 1/2” PVC to make stands and then slide two large noodles together with another piece of PVC to connect them in the middle. Super easy and cheap. You can also get pretty creative and build all sorts of gate styles with them. Best part is they are soft so they are forgiving on your quads. Also very easy to see while flying
Hello BGUFF, following your advice I swap my 85x custom (Fc Beta aio + 1103-8000kv + Emax Avan quadri 2 "+ Turbo eos + Xm => 58grs) on the frame of the 95x (59grs). could you share your entire dump to get yourrates and your filter settings ? Thank you for your great ideas ;-)
The strap only weighs .8g so you would totally save weight but I think you would gain it back by attempting to affix a battery in an alternate method. (zip tie?). At the end of the day it may not be worth shaving that weight based on how incredibly well those tiny rubber coated straps work. My batteries always stay where they should
That ziptie for battery strap is 👌

Great video, great build, great pilotig skills and very beautiful to boot. Thanks. Just please be extra careful for your little boy there :)
Thanks! Haha yes I will. He loves to chase the little whoops 😀
@@BGUFF if he keeps on doing that we'll hear about him at the Olympics 2038 ;)
It inspired me and finaly ive build a 95mm 2s Walksnail. Flies nice but 7000kv feels underpowered . Dry weigth is 56 grams.
Oh, you're the one that volunteered as tribute to the fire god!
Haha yep!
Any updates on this build? Really lookin for either a 85mm or 95mm backyard basher
Thanks for the video. I feel like I need to make one of these. For science
FOR SCIENCE!!! 😂
Nice, I will be doing a similar build soon. It will be heavier, but inspired by this video. Good work.

I love the build bro🤙🚀✈️
Awesome build! I need to make something like this. Love the video, stay safe!
Thank you. you too!
I'm considering to build one with Happymodell 1103 8500kv and GNB 3S 550mah....
What do you think about it?
Anything to secure the vtx antenna?
The back end of the canopy ends up holding it down/centered nicely. I have not ever had it end up in the props.
Link to those titanium screws? :)

Whats your tune 🔥🔥🔥
Just added to the end of the description 👌🏽
@@BGUFF thanks im gonna try those numbers on a 4s whoop is little heavy. Geelang anger75x
Curious which tablet that is my dude.
It’s a 12.9” iPad Pro with the Apple keyboard case
Beta 85 2 pro frame ???
What are you asking about? I am not sure I follow
Sweet! You build those gates yourself?

I built one with the betafpv 11000kv 1103 motors. It wobbles a lot do you think going down to 1103 8000kv would below with that ?
Yeah probably. 11000kv is too high for 2.5'' IMO.. you can also try the thin 2 blade 65mm props that might also help
I don’t get the point of the floss?
To help the propellers not to be launched away

maybe lose the battery strap and shave off some more weight?
