That rythmitic, thumpity-thump exit beat into the closing credit theme is one superbly orchestrated tune in itself. Always remembered it when I first watched this in the UK aged 15. The Littlest Hobo my No.1 Canine Hero. Brilliant storylines and memories.
I used to watch the older version of this program back in the 60's. London reminds me so much of a german shepard we had when i was little. His name was Duke and he was my best buddy growning up. We lost Duke when I was 6.
this was on childrens TV in the UK in the 1980s, it made me cry and still does, this episode i can clearly remember, i found it scary as a young child.
I love this dog i wish I had this dog when I was 7 years old we had 2 German Shepherds they just like hobo i loved them days i wish they come back. Love for hobo
That bridge in the theme that the Hobo runs across is probably near the Zoo or Reasor Rd in Cedar Grove... they shot alot of the shows near The zoo and in Markham.
the kid and the older gent are talking, well, no. the older gent is talking to the kid with the kid interrupting asking what happened next- and the man basically says 'eat a sandwich, keep your strength up' KEEP STRENGTH UP FOR WHAT? THEY'RE JUST SITTING AROUND CHIT CHATTIN' Beautiful. Stunning moment right there. truly an honest representation to adults mindsets throughout the ages. also, im surprised it took so long for the little girl to talk to Mr Hobo here, usually the humans, but especially the kiddos love to talk his fluffy ears off and he loves to listen, if a bit multi tasking in his listening. i wonder if this was a choice because the man is retelling a story he had limited details on?
Esa seríe de niño a veces la veía era en español y ahora me trae gratos recuerdos ahora de adulto la veo más seguido pues hay algunos capítulos en español y el resto toca en inglés
These new episodes from’79 really suck. I used to watch the normal Littlest Hobo in the ‘60’s. It looks more professional, and the theme song is 10 times better.
Perhaps but maybe because you grew up watching it from then but others like us as kids watched the 70s and 80s version so I teared up when I heard the theme song today after so many years!
WOW I CAN HARDLY BELIVE THERE ARE FULL EPISODES ON TH-cam THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH
It's so heartwarming to see a dog save lives and do more. He's a highly specially-trained dog!

My cousin is in her late 30s and to this day, she can't listen to this theme song without tearing up.

Yo lo veia en 1981 en la TV, fue muy popular este programa, nunca lo olvidare al pequeno vagabundo.
Pienso q así le denominaron en latin
Nothing tops that theme song.
This show isn't that bad when you think about it. And the theme tune is quite catchy actually.
A classic 😀
great story, I love London. thanks for this
I was in preschool or maybe 5 when this was on TV.
Thumbs up I love this song and movie 39years now
This was simple the best!!
Simply the best
Siempre amaremos a London , el maravilloso héroe de niños y jóvenes .
Vague television memory of the first run. Never knew there was a revival. I was a grown-up by then. Don't know what I am now. Elderly?
Love this movie 🎥

I loved to watch this show as a kid and now my kids love to watch it.
little girl found! :)
Why don't they make shows like this anymore? Good programming!
I'm crying I remember what a good boy!!
Judging by the intro, I think I'll save this video for when I'm baked.
the little boy is christopher crabb, he played 'jonah' on the other canadian tv series DANGER BAY.
I thought he looked familiar, I wonder why they didn't have his name in the credits.

As an european, am I watching something like the canadian Lassie right now? was this a popular show back then?
Yeah that pretty much sums it up. I loved this show as a child, haha.
I used to watch this a lot in the UK too back in the day.
was more popular in the uk than in canada!
It was far better than Lassie
Great show, I loved it too.
Dammit Sips! Sjin, pass me the tissues, please. Ridge, you need some tissues?
3 words: littlest hobo reboot. Maybe he could bring clean drinking water to northern peoples.
This show is sjincredible.
THEY DIDN'T EVEN OFFER THE DOG A TREAT OR A STEAK???
Are these guys for real ? - When they've changed the wheel on the Camper, they don't even check on the kid before they set off again ?
Do you have also episode 1?
why did the girl walk of???????
sips your right
orale , i'm the first, memorias de mi ninez how sweet .
As a 46 yr old white male, this show reminds me of simpler times and what Canada used to be like in the old days.
Lynda Day George is the mom?! YOWSER!!
Ridge Dog... you poor soul.
Lol sips and sjin brought me here
Sips lol
Sjintastic
The music doesn't sound like the theme song of the Littlest Hobo of 1965.
lol sips
Same here
Dedicated to jon-man
Johnathan Gregory brandis
What in God’s name have I stumbled into
My dude have you never seen the Hobo before? This classic Canadiana. Ask any Canadian and they'll get all misty eyed about it in a heartbeat
Like if Sips brought you here!
Same
Why does Pat from best friends play like this so much?
Who tf is Sips?
please in spain
The girl is awfully tall for a 3 year old child
okay, why wouldn't the dog bark to alert the parents that their little girl is wandering off?

It was soooooo bad! Watching this now is hilarious. It's like a car crash. I can't look away.
