Yes, it does. Every time. Nearly 40 years since I watched it and I remember every word. Hard not to fall for dogs like that. We always kept German Shepherds. I've had 3 in my family and I miss them more than most humans.
Oh I loved this show and was crazy about the dog as a kid. I can't hear the theme tune without crying! I have just ordered the dvd, can't wait to see them all again! Thanks so much for the upload!
One of my favorite series that enjoyed as a child, and the song is really one of the best too!!As a matter of fact, in this chapter appears Vic Morrow and Michael Ironside playing "the bad guys "
London was the primary star of the 60's "Littlest Hobo" series. He had brothers including Toro, Litlon (short for Little London) and Thorn whom they, along with their relatives were used as understudies in the series that ran between 1963 to 1965. The series were more dramatic with stronger plot impacts compared to the '79-80's series revival that starred another likewise - also named London as the primary star - whose understudies and himself were relatives and grandsons by the same lines of the 60's series dogs. An example of this episode "Silent Witness" is that the hit and run victim survived, whereas in the original 60's version, An elderly was killed on impact. Also the ending is different in that in this remake, the hit run driver ran off from the unsuspecting turned pursuing police and escaped, later visiting the victim to greatly admit and apologize to her in which she forgave him. But in the original 60's version the hit run driver did not try to escape, he thought the unsuspecting police stopped to arrest him, proceeded to admit remorsefully that he did not mean to kill the victim. Of course the instigator of justice in the original episode and the instigator of man-taming in the remake episode were the two Londons themselves, the original episode in which London was portrayed as the hit run driver's worst unrelenting nightmare whereas in the remake episode, the dog portrayed as same, but which the hit run driver forgives the dog.
Do you live in Canada? Because i live in Stratford,Ontario,Canada & i found a dvd of "The Littlest Hobo" at a video/cd store here in Stratford,Ontario.I go to this place all the time & they sell all the old retro tv & movies on dvd,i recently went & bought seasons 1,3,4,6 of Hawaii Five-O & The Rockford Files season 1 & noticed The Littlest Hobo on Dvd but i'm not sure what season it was?Would you like for me to find out what season it was & how much it is if your interested?Anyways take care.
the episode should have been about the dog helping him pick up all that trash and repair his bins. the truck ran over the trash cans and recycle and then he kicks more trash about his own front yard?! like wth man why is he laughing he will need to spend at least a day hammering the dents outta those bins
Yes I'm in Canada. I have seen some DVD sets of Littlest Hobo but description is saying its the old 60's series & not the 79-85 series. I would love to get any season of the 79-85 series! Can you send me a pic of the box art? And yes I'd be very interested in it! Thx!
recuerdo que en 2015 entrevistaba a una atleta y le dije, mi vida es como la de Hobo el Perro Vagabundo y la chama quedó así como en la luna jajajajajaja
I hope the dog London got his fair share of the cut of money from doing this show lol.I wonder who owned the dog & how that worked payment wise? I hope London got lots of treats & woman dogs on set lol. What a cool & very smart dog London was!!
the theme aways chokes me up ,did the song almost bring a tear to your eyes
i just posted about that on facebook, always did that to me as a kid,

This video, particularly the theme tune, takes me back about 26 years - thankyou!
When the dog is the best actor in the entire cast.
Cheapest actor ever. just a can here and there.
Smarter too
I guess you missed Michael Ironsides in that episode!
Not to mention Vic Morrow from “Combat!”
What are you talking about Michael Ironside is a living Legend, you really have shown your ignorance there fella.
This was such a cool show! Right back to childhood! Thanks for sharing.

Been a long long time since I saw this. Thanks for the upload.
The Ambulance attendant was in a Canadian Tv show called,"Night Heat" his name was Jambone & his Police side kick was O'Brian.
Yea I was born when was released 1979, loved it yes it is on dvd..
The drunk in this tv episode was also in a movie called,"Police Story" who was a under cover Police officer.
When Hobo throws meat away he just stares down and thinks "I hate this show"
Como disfrutaba de esta serie en mi juventud que recuerdo
Omg! This song still makes me cry at the end of it. I am 46!!!
Me too, and I'm 73.
Caddy Duplex in the role of ambulance went on to star as Ecto Mobile in Ghostbusters.

You really had to copy and paste? It was made for children. Jeez.
best show ever
Love it!!!
Good ol' Michael Ironside
Wish I had that early 70s FORD Truck that was in the show!
When Ironside was younger he looked like he could pass for Powers Boothe's brother.
There was a deleted scene on the DVD where the dog bit Michael Ironside's arm off.
The best show and theme song
this takes me back ahh
Here for Jeff Wincott from Night Heat, who was introduced by Jack Creley who also has two episodes in this show, what a small world.
Rest in peace Vic Morrow,
Classic show.

I just noticed that one of the ambulance attendants was Jambone from the old Canadian cop show Night Heat.
This show seems to have much in common with the incredible hulk. drifters who help people then skedaddle.
What a good boy!
Again, another update remake episode of The Littlest Hobo from the ‘60's.
you guys should be frying balls right now!!! this video is so true

There was another canadian TV show that had a german shepherd..a police dog or something..around the mid 80's-90's
You're not thinking Due South, are you? That was a wolf called Diefenbaker that belonged to a Mounty.
There was also The Bionic Dog.
Katts & Dog
Katts and Dog!...Thanks!!!!!!
No That was some kind of husky/wolf..When i saw Katts and dog i youtube'd it..(new name)..Katts and dog is it.
"The Littlest Yarbo" brought me here. :-)
Linda serie pero deberían traducirla al español.unica
SIN DUDA UNA DE LAS MEJORES SERIES DE TODOS LOS TIEMPOS PERO SUBAN LAS EN ESPAÑOL POR FAVOR
Whats Sam Fisher doing in this! haha Michael Ironside for the win.
they dont make shows as gritty and realistic as this anymore ;(
somebody knows when was recorded this chapter, the year? and what happened with this dog after the serie?
Acuario Campos late 1963, was the first season so this episode was either 63 or early 1964 so the dog would be long gone
Dieter Corzelius Not quite! Michael Ironside isn't that old, for starters. This is from the first season of the revival, which ran from '79 to '85.
randomartist01 ok did not know that there was a 79-85 series , either way the pooch has past lol
Dieter Corzelius there was more than one dog in show
Acuario Campos This episode was from 1979 it says at the end.
It's so America that even in 1979 a kids' show has a man threatening to shoot someone for knocking on his door.
"Inspector Rex"s grandfather
Vic Morrow and Micheal Ironside on the Littlest Hobo!? Come on!
BUT DID U SEE VIC MORROW??
XMIR10C ; Yes from the tv show Combat. R.I.P. Vic Morrow. He died a horrible death.
Why, oh why did Vic perm his hair?
Ok ya i'll look at the dvd & make sure it's the 1979-1985,& i'll take a snap shot of the box set art work for ya.
Needs more bloom. I never noticed before but this show has a look of the 'canadas' about it...is it a Canadian show?
