    Any advice on fixing high beams nor working?

    • @royalgaragellc
      @royalgaragellc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sadly I don’t know what could be causing your high beams not to work, the only advice I can give besides making sure the bulb is good, is to check the wires, making sure they aren’t destroyed in anyway, and make sure all the connections are good. If all that checks out, then you could look into replacing either the ballast underneath the headlight, or the actual light switch in the car. I hope this helps you out good luck!

      I have the same problem, it’s the high beam flapper motor that shorted out, I ordered new headlights but unfortunately they did not come with ballast and they are a different style then the one on the oem so I’m about to try and make 2 good ones out of 4 😅

    Do you still recommend those lenses? Have they held up for you?

    • @royalgaragellc
      @royalgaragellc  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Absolutely! I’ve had no issues the entire time they’ve been installed

    great video. i am getting moisture inside my headlight (on the inside of the lens) any idea what part i need to replace?

    • @royalgaragellc
      @royalgaragellc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you! Sounds like moisture is getting into your headlight somehow. I’d said evaporate the moisture that’s inside (with a heat gun or hair dryer) then reseal it by just adding sealant to the perimeter and that should hopefully take care of your problem!

    Hello, which glue did you use to put it back? Silicon?

    Question: Is is possible to just remove the old lens and install a new lens without removing the whole light assembly? In other words replace the lens with the headlight assembly attached to the car?

    • @royalgaragellc
      @royalgaragellc  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately the whole headlight assembly does need to be removed in order to replace even just the lens but luckily that’s not too difficult of a job!

    Hello! Any idea where to find the part (reflector/housing, which was held by T20 bolts)? Cause I am unable to find it or search by incorrect name. Had mine broken/fried, have to find a new one, don't wanna buy a whole new headlamp for that, if it's changeable

    • @royalgaragellc
      @royalgaragellc  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! I actually ran into the same problem as you where I had to replace the blinker housing, unfortunately I had to go and replace the whole headlight since I couldn’t find just that one part :/ hope this helps!

    If I used my oven does it leave a chemical smell?
    or will a toaster oven work also?

    • @royalgaragellc
      @royalgaragellc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ll be honest, I’ve never used an oven before but I know it works. As for whether or not it leaves a chemical smell, my guess would be maybe, but I’d imagine it would only be temporary. I think a toaster oven might be too small to fit the headlight, I’d honestly recommend just getting a cheap hair dryer or heat gun from like Wal-mart or somewhere, especially if the chemical smell is a major concern. Hope this helps!

    how do you reinstall lense?

    • @royalgaragellc
      @royalgaragellc  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      My final headlight video will cover just that and more, so be on the look out for it coming soon! In the mean time, reinstalling the lens is practically the reversal of removing it, just heat up the glue on the headlight housing, apply new glue on the lens or housing and press the lens back in. Be sure to test it for leaks so no moisture gets in and fogs the lens. Hope this helps!
