Yeah, a company I used to work for hosted business events, and hired florists for the events. Of the three different companies we hired, all were owned by men. Those men were ghey, and openly so.
Ben Stiller is too funny when he plays this character. He played the same kind of role in Something About Mary, Along Came Polly and Duplex…all hilarious
I was planning on asking my wife's dad for approval before we got engaged, but then he started introducing me as his son in law before I could talk to him. Figured I was in the clear
38:42 - I always like to think this scene is a mini crossover with Buffy the Vampire Slayer and that Hallie is pretending to be an airport employee just to mess with Greg. Vengeance demons can be petty
It’s a pleasure to revisit this reaction again Blank and J - so many good commentary quotes in this one 😊 I feel a “Meet The Fockers” reaction soon….I hope❣️
My step dad actually came to me and my brother before he proposed to our mom. We were both grown and long moved out. And she was 46 at the time 😂 I thought it was nice.
I love your co pilots so much! Lmao. Their personalities crack me up, and, always add to the reactions. Also, funny movie. One of my favorites starring Ben Stiller.
My husband asked my father for his blessing before he proposed to me. I found it quite heart warming that he'd show my father that respect. I was very close with my dad. I think it can be hard for a dad to step back from that protective role. It also brought my dad and my husband closer together. They were like father and son until the day my dad passed away.
Wish I could come watch these movies with you and the dogs, would be fun. Thanks for uploadin J, bringing happiness to a buncha dark lonely people :P take care man
Asking the father is a nice tradition, not permission (bars). 😂 It's a sign of respect, and an opportunity for the man to tell his future wife's father how much he loves her, and that he'll take care of her. It's dropped off in popularity over the years, but I think it's a sweet gesture because a) most fathers tend to worry a lot about their daughters' partners, and b) it shows that the future husband has confidence, respect, and takes marriage seriously. ❤
The actress that got hit in the face with the volleyball passed away in 2005. Sad story because she was checked into 2 hospitals for breathing problems and was diagnosed as having bronchitis and told to take Tylenol and sent home. She collapsed at her home and was unconcious on the way to the hospital...then pronounced dead at the hospital where they found out she really had pneumonia.
Thank you J for the funniest thing EVER in one of your reactions. Denise's lie detector test at the end.... you.... "how'd he do that?! ..... I am white!" LMFAO!!! I literally spit my Pepsi everywhere in my living room. I had to take 20 mins to clean it up. That was the funniest thing I ever heard on a reaction. Even better then one of the females on their page (forget which one, watching airplane! ... when the automatic pilot was deflating) she said "she's gonna blow him!" Even funnier then that. You're awesome!
Its a throw back to old fashioned times for a man to ask a womans father for permission to marry. The father of the bride traditionally pays for the wedding (or at least part of it) as well so there is a reason why. It was also up to the father to thoroughly vet a potential suitor too to make sure hes not an abuser or a bad person/role model for his grandkids.
He was feeling for his pulse to see if it went up or down. Polygraphs measure blood pressure, pulse and I think your diaphragm (breathing). The main reason they are inadmissible in court is because they can't tell if you are lying, they can only tell if you are nervous. Truly unscrupulous people aren't nervous about lying and some people are nervous about everything.
It’s a respectful way to go. Is to ask her dad to marry his daughter. I did it and it scared the shit out of me but I’m old school like that. He gave me a big bear hug afterwards but first he was surprised I asked him
Pam is the villain in this movie. She screws Focker over at every turn. First off, she doesn't tell him how her father is Doesn't tell Greg that she has lied about their cohabitation Tells dad that Greg hates cats Doesn't tell Greg that she was previously engaged nor that Jack loves Kevin Doesn't tell Greg that Kevin is the best man. Also forgets to mention the BBQ at his house Volunteers Greg to go find Jinx There's a bunch of other things but I'm too lazy Blythe Danner plays Pam's mom. In real life she is Gwyneth Paltrow's mother
@Anaj-us4eo They may have done a cover but I've only heard DC talks version. You can see the music video on TH-cam. Or hear the song at least. The lyrics are there.
Regarding if you should ask a woman’s father for permission to marry her. If she has a good relationship with her dad, definitely you need to do that. I did. Was really nervous.
The tradition of asking the father for the daughter's hand in marriage is a long tradition from a time when the daughter was viewed as property. In the West, the tradition dates back to the Roman Empire and probably earlier than that. It wasn't until around the 18th and 19th centuries where the custom became more of something out of respect rather than a transactional conversation.
“I am white’ I am 6 foot 9, I am 125lbs” yo I damn near spit out my wine😂😂😂😂 you are hilarious!!!
🤌😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂
Im White and 6.4 110 kg. I love you guys ❤
And almost pissed my self 😂❤
Bout fell out of my Chair
You get to meet his parents in the sequel, Meet the Fockers.
At every turn his fiancé sets him up for failure. Pam is the villain in this story lol
Typical woman shit test
the whole family are total p.o.s, Focker is the only decent person in the entire movie.
Nagh she not the villain. He should left wayyyy sooner.
🎯🎯🎯🎯
Yes! I always thought that haha why TF is she doing this to him?!
"I am white" I laughed too damn much at you for that
😂
41:39 lol
Can’t wait for Meet the fockers
Me too
The actress that played the mom is Gwyneth Paltrow’s real life mom.
They look Exactly alike who couldn't tell
Blythe Danner. Her performance as Abigail in 1776 is breathtaking.
@@SurvivorBriOne of my favorites!
My cousin literally ran into Gwyneth while snowboarding in Aspen. He is a luckier man that I.
I kept thinking 🤔 perhaps she seems familiar because I know he has seen Gweneth; when he said you can tell the mom was a hottie 🔥 in her day 😅
2 things I would gladly do in this life. 1) Eat an endless supply of pizza. 2) Rewatch J's reuploaded videos any amount of times.
I do that now! Lol
'Breast pumps?'
".......I grew up on a farm."
OMG you are an _ACTUAL NURSE!_
I thought that too. If he was a little quicker on his game, he could have played it off as something involved with his profession.
Guys cover story is a florist and he calls Greg out about working in a mostly female profession.
I always thought that was kinda weird too, until his real profession was revealed.
Yeah, a company I used to work for hosted business events, and hired florists for the events. Of the three different companies we hired, all were owned by men. Those men were ghey, and openly so.
For what it's worth... if anyone could get away with that stuff, it's Robert Deniro.
And? What exactly is feminine about gardening?
He was feeling for Focker's pulse to quicken to tell if he was lying Jay.
Your reviews make the movies even more entertaining and I love your dogs.
Owen Wilson saying he carved the altar out of one piece of wood levels me flat every time!
Did he chop down a redwood?
Didn't he say he "whittled" it? 😂
Only took him about 72 hours…
😂
You gotta do Meet the Fockers!
AGREED
mr and mrs focker are played by dustin hoffman and barbara streisand
best wishes to you Jay, Blank, Drogo and Rom (and anyone else working in the background) for the up and coming new year thanks for everything ...
Ben Stiller is too funny when he plays this character. He played the same kind of role in Something About Mary, Along Came Polly and Duplex…all hilarious
Duplex is so funny! 😅I've never seen it reacted to yet
I agree. He plays this akward good minded character so well :D
I was planning on asking my wife's dad for approval before we got engaged, but then he started introducing me as his son in law before I could talk to him. Figured I was in the clear
lol I always liked the “mew mew mew” too
The Father played Puff the Magic Dragon to see how Gregg would respond.
"I have nipples Greg. Can you milk me?" 😂
They said that line in the movie! Hahaha 🤣😂🤣😂
after so many times seeing this it still gets me
Seeing J laugh this much always makes my day a whole lot better 😂❤🎉
The deniro face at the end… 10/10.
Wait, is this a re-upload, or am I just losing my mind-grapes?
Definitely a re upload...I've been waiting months not for the second one 😑
Yay! A rare Drogo sighting 😊 obviously Rom is awesome too. We just don't see Drogo as often.
Thank you for re uploading this for us. Safe travels Blank.... LMAO J, "I would piss in the corner." I almost choked.
The parody version of this scene in Date Movie, a dried up ol Skeleton drops out the vase when it breaks hilarious.
Date movie is so damn hilarious. The main male actor is so good! But you never see him in comedies anymore. :(
1:18 - I played back Drogo's last comment 5 times! 🤣🤣🤣
My step dad actually came to me and my brother before he proposed to our mom. We were both grown and long moved out. And she was 46 at the time 😂 I thought it was nice.
Anyone else notice in this movie how the prayer he does at dinner was just the song that was playing at the drug store?
The prayer is the words to Day by Day a song from the play Godspell..
he holds the spots on the wrist to determine his pulse rate
Ohh god three things we ask To love the more dearly, to see the more clearly, to follow the more nearly 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Your own human lie detector test got me man LOL
You said “I’m gonna start acting out” 😂😂
I'm White, I'm 6 ft 9!, I'm 125...I'm Green. 😂😂😂.
Been with you guys for over a year, and when MW , really laughs, man it's a better World! ❤
dude, you may honestly have the most infectious laugh I've ever experienced.
10:02 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂someone got UPSET !
another banger one of the top 3 reaction channels
I love your co pilots so much! Lmao. Their personalities crack me up, and, always add to the reactions. Also, funny movie. One of my favorites starring Ben Stiller.
Had to click on this video immediately upon seeing it posted!! Have been waiting on this one!! God bless you and yours!! ❤️
Meet The Parents was a must see. Dustin Hoffman and Barbara Streisand play his parents.
"...Greg's Jewish."
The delivery of that gets me every time lol
My husband asked my father for his blessing before he proposed to me. I found it quite heart warming that he'd show my father that respect. I was very close with my dad. I think it can be hard for a dad to step back from that protective role. It also brought my dad and my husband closer together. They were like father and son until the day my dad passed away.
If I knew a toilet flushing would cause a problem I'd just turn water to the tank off. That's on jack 100%.
42:00 looks like Doctor Doom is dancing to a James Brown beat.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Happy New Year to the whole EOM family! Stay healthy everybody and may god bless you!
Let´s go!
I was disappointed that his proposal didn’t pan out. It was so cute! But then I guess there wouldn’t be a movie then!
When you grabbed your wrist and said "I am white",........I haven't spit my drink out in a long time. 😂
Wish I could come watch these movies with you and the dogs, would be fun. Thanks for uploadin J, bringing happiness to a buncha dark lonely people :P take care man
Jack bringing up that there aren't many male nurses, leaves Greg an absolute layup of a response considering Jack is supposed to be a Florist.

Dr.Doom as some incredibly interesting lore about him. Your shirt game is on one of the highest levels sir.
BRO Meet the Fockers is a must after this one
I started laughing at his reaction before I could click the link 😂 this is gonna be gold.

You need to watch the second movie,it is so funny.
Time to watch the next movie! ❤
Thank you J for the funniest thing EVER in one of your reactions. Denise's lie detector test at the end.... you.... "how'd he do that?! ..... I am white!" LMFAO!!! Deniro not Denise.... damn auto correct.
Oh I can not wait for Meet the Fockers!
Your reactions crack me up. Happy New Year Dawg!
Our prayer for dinner was, "rub a dub rub a dub, thanks for the grub, yea god, amen"
Love your channel brother, have a great new year
"The Deer Hunter"(1978), "Raging Bull"(1980) and "Falling in Love"(1984) are just three more of the many DeNiro movies I think u will like🔥🔥🔥
Its a throw back to old fashioned times for a man to ask a womans father for permission to marry. It was also up to the father to thoroughly vet a potential suitor too to make sure hes not an abuser or a bad person/role model for his grandkids.
You definitely need to watch Meet the Fockers too. His parents. I won’t say who they are, but they’re hilarious.
I liked this video before I even started watching it. Because I knew you were gonna enjoy it.
"I am white...I am 6 foot 8...I am 125lbs"....I LOST IT Lmfao
He was feeling for his pulse to see if it went up or down. Polygraphs measure blood pressure, pulse and I think your diaphragm (breathing).

This movie is an all time fav 👌🏽but u gotta watch the the second one "Meet The Fockers" 🤣🤣🤣 iykyk 💯
He's feeling his pulse in the wrist, it should quicken if he lies...
The pulse, and BP, place the thumb on the pulse point, go to one side with the thumb for the radial artery
The Mom is Gwyneth Paltrow's Mom in real life
You couldn't sneak a fake Dexter past me either
Human lie detector, he was feeling his pulse on both wrists.
The actress that plays Pam posed for Playboy a couple years after this film.
It’s a respectful way to go. Is to ask her dad to marry his daughter. I did it and it scared the shit out of me but I’m old school like that. He gave me a big bear hug afterwards but first he was surprised I asked him
Pam is the villain of this whole movie.
Pam is the villain in this movie. She screws Focker over at every turn.
First off, she doesn't tell him how her father is
Doesn't tell Greg that she has lied about their cohabitation
Tells dad that Greg hates cats
Doesn't tell Greg that she was previously engaged nor that Jack loves Kevin
Doesn't tell Greg that Kevin is the best man. Also forgets to mention the BBQ at his house
Volunteers Greg to go find Jinx
There's a bunch of other things but I'm too lazy
Blythe Danner plays Pam's mom. In real life she is Gwyneth Paltrow's mother
We love you buddy ❤
You REALLY should watch 'Date Movie'; they spoof this movie and soooo many more 🥰😸
I can’t freaking stand Pam. She never has her man’s back. I wouldn’t waste my time with a woman who doesn’t have my back.
Great reaction as always. I hope you do a reaction to the other two movies in this trilogy.
The mom was in Paul, I don't know if you watched that yet.
This was amazing.🤣
In real life doctors love nurses. They do all the stuff doctors don't want to do.
The prayer he prays is the lyrics of a DC Talk song "Day by Day"
DC Talk song??? The song is from Godspell the musical circa 1970
@Anaj-us4eo They may have done a cover but I've only heard DC talks version. You can see the music video on TH-cam. Or hear the song at least. The lyrics are there.
Ben stiller was that guy for some years 🤣

A bonafide classic!
41:45 Yo, I'm dead. Not the I'm 125 lbs
Happy new year ❤❤ please do meet the Fockers all these movies are hilarious
The Mom's name is Blythe Danner who is Gwyneth Paltrow's mom in real life...
This one... Along Came Polly and there's something about Mary are my top three Ben Stiller comedies.
Now you got to do the sequel Meet The Fockers. It's the law.
He was feeling for any change of pulse rate Jay, supposedly that's guaranteed.
No no no. His parents love him very much. Watch meet the Fockers! Soooo funny!!!
De Niro is a legend. lol
Jep, Greetings from Finland
You cracked me 😂❤let me try. Fool me once😮
Yes you should ask the father first before you ask his daughter to marry you. I did and it does go a long way when it comes to her family.
