I grew up in the NYC metro area and it's just fascinating how different Chicago looks compared to Manhattan. It's so much cleaner. What a beautiful city, I'd love to visit one day
Chicago is Not that different than Manhattan off the lake. You cant compare the Entire city of Chicago to just one borough of New York City . Chicago is Manhattan off the lake , Brooklyn on the west side , Bronx on the south side and Queens on the Northwest side.

I'm Japanese and I love the city architecture of Chicago. The buildings have a classic yet modern look. It's exactly how I imagine what an American city would look like. It reminds me of Gotham City lol.

As someone who visited Chicago for the first time last spring with a college friend, this video captures downtown Chicago perfectly. We even stayed at a hotel right on Michigan Avenue, so we were close to everything downtown and it was such a cool place. I like where the traffic lights are mounted in the US - after the intersection, so you can see them well... Here in Europe sometimes you have to break you neck waiting for green light... :) Beautiful city by the way! Thanks for sharing!
