Trucks are not unibodies. Need more bed. I would love to have a 1/2 ton truck with the crew cab with a bed that can haul a 4x8 sheet of wood with the tailgate up and not propped up on it. And tie down spots on the bed floor.

If you can't put a 4'×8' sheet of ply wood in the bed with tailgate up its not a useful pickup

I would rate the KIA and Hyundai's at the same level as Honda. Almost 200 thousand miles on 2017 KIA Forte with only regular maintenence issues, but nothing catastrophic, until my son-n-law totaled it.

if kia wants to compete in the truck / off road segment, it needs at least 19 inch + of suspension articulation, and some decent clearance. It cant just be on par it needs to exceed toyota. The new gx 550 grocery getter has 19 inch of real world articulation.

If you're marketing to off roaders these are the kinds of things they should think about achieving. Kia should not aim for second place when they have such a huge opportunity to steal market cap from Toyota right now.
