Sazgar was one of the very few companies who started making CNG rickshaws 14 years ago at times when 2 stroke rickshaws were everywhere in Pakistan . They succeeded and now CNG rickshaws are almost everywhere . So best of luck in future with electric rickshaws and alot of people might not know that they export Rickshaws to Japan as well . 👍🏻 wish you very best Sazgar .

Jo Mercedes India mein 6 - 7 lakh ki hai, usko yaha le aao vo 15 - 16 lakh ki ho jaye gi. There's a reason k yaha her cheez expensive hai as compared to India. Jo Rikshaw yaha 5 lakh ka hoga, vohi India mein 2 lakh ka bhi nahi hoga.
Or baat rahi Rikshaw mehnga hone ki to jo long term mein bachat hogi uska bhi socho. Jo log apne gharo ko solar panels per convert karte hain vo ye nahi sochte "bhai hum kaha se lakho kharach kare solar panels per?", vo long term ki bachat ka sochte hain k saal ka lakho bache ga bhi saath. Humne apne ghar k normal AC's ko DC Inverter AC per convert kiya hai. Pehle bill 55K+ ata tha, ab 30 - 35K ata hai. Ab calculate karo or socho k hume saal ki kitni bachat ho rahi hai; almost 1.5 lakh ki.

Main ye nahi keh raha k ye Rikshaw bohat kamaal ka hai. Sirf is video ki baat kare to daikhne mein to koi khaas nahi hai or quality bhi kisi aam rikshey se ziyada achi nahi lag rahi. Laikin ye abhi first generation product hai, aney walo salo mein shyd or bhi acha ho jaye q k competitors bhi enter ho jaye gay.

Kisi tarhan is ki braking regenerative hogay to yay kafi acha aur practicle option ban jay ga. Since its a commericial vehichle 120km chaljana is k liay koi 3-4 ghantay ki maar hai pher bechara rickshaw wala is ko kahan apnay din k 5 ghantay rozee rok k is ko charge krta phiray ga. Rengen brakes say is ki range shayad 220km k kareeb pohoch jay aur is ko aam galyon mai chalna hai to brakes ka istamal bohot hoga jo baterry ko on the go recharge karge karnay mai bohot help karay ga.

Agreed, 120km range is quite low for a commercial vehicle. I once asked a riksha driver about his daily km driven, and he said something around 150-200km. Moreover, for lithium-ion batteries, it is recommended to not drain it beyond 20%. That would lead to even less range practically.

its actually quite a task. Lightyear one has solar coverd roof but it doesnt add much power. Its a great idea for the future. Current tech doesnt allow much in this area

Its a great step towards electric but government should also work the type of electricity produced in our country which is mainly on the burning of fossil fuels which have the largest emissions of Co2.!

Idea acha hai, lekin 120 km distance bahut kum hai, my office is around 44 km both sides, aur 90 minutes drive both sides, tu matlab 3 chakar in 270 minutes or 5 ghantay ki drive kay bad 5 ghantay ki charging required hai, which makes it difficult to manage, kyon kay working hours may be 10 to 12, tu is hisab say battery double karni paray gi tu make it successful, lekin idea acha hai 👍🏻
Can we use the roof to support a solar panel. Pakistan being a sunny place can extend range by 25 percent.
Not so much, because the angle of solar panel will not be in the optimal position. And some amount of current will be desipated in the form of heat while charging the batteries.

i have concerns, rickshaw have to go inside small streets with huge road humps and ditches. Do we have good ground clearance of motor? What about moving up and down on flyovers and under passes also what about moving inside flooded areas? All things need to be taken into consideration. Please do reply.

Sunil, you are raising great voice for automobile standardization in Pakistan. In upcoming episodes, do include the subject of emission norms.
Pakistan can learn how India has moved onto BS6 emission norms (equivalent to Euro6) from April 2020. All the automobile companies where made to switch to low emission engine technologies. And also the fuel companies upgraded the quality of fuel.
Pakistan also needs to take step in such positive direction. You be the torch bearer.
