I was going to just download this off of TH-cam, but you obviously poured your soul(s) into this. I'll buy your whole album when I get more money. Fantastic job, mate.
I just realized that Deadly Climb is meant to be the music of the Anor Londo Archers. There's a problem with it tho: you'll never live long enough to hear more than ten seconds of the song.
I finally realized I could buy this today. I've been listening to this off and on for several months, so I'm happy to throw some money your way. You've funded several work sessions with your music, and this is the least I can do in return.
Great for writing to, ignoring the game entirely it conveys a well of emotions, landscapes, and themes. Beautiful composition, and much love to you for it ♥️
Great! But, while understandable, it is sad the separate videos were deleted. Shame, that! Their images showing the areas, descriptions about relatable experiences with them, and the music therefore being apt for them, altogether _made_ the soundtrack. That altogether really put me into the areas. It, truly, realised the music. It isn't the same now, I'm sorry to say.
@@SoundPhenomenon I'm new to this (just a few minutes in) and may not understand what you're speaking of, but perhaps an option is to compile these old videos into one long album video, the way that TPR mixes gameplay into his melancholy tribute series. An example is here: th-cam.com/video/QNt0JLuZwBk/w-d-xo.html That could put all of the tracks in one video while keeping whatever visual component that was in them before.
@@SoundPhenomenon separate videos were better so you could replay while you were in those specific places. But the songs are awesome, and perfect, and suit their environments. Props to you, man!
@@moiserares6974 You can always use bandcamp for that. The quality of the audio is better, too, and unlimited streams are turned on even without purchase: soundphenomenon.bandcamp.com/
Hey dude, great compilation. However, it would be awesome if you could include one more track for the "dark lord" ending. I feel like that ending has a completely different feel to it than the "linking the fire" ending, and it would be awesome if you could arrange some ambience for that.
Mostly because I ended up updating several of the tracks, so the earlier videos aren't the final versions of the music. Also, I just find it's neater in terms of my channel and encourages people to listen on Bandcamp if they want just particular tracks where the sound quality is a little better. Thanks fr all the encouragement along the way, btw!
This is mostly the spitfire libraries using Kontakt player. For plugins I always use altaverb for reverb and then a mixture of things otherwise. Love Fabfilter for EQ and multiband compression on the mix bus...
This deserves a mod to put these tracks in the game
This is better D&D music than every "Music for D&D" video on youtube.
...im just glad to find something that proves goodness and beauty can exist even in the darkest soul.

@@aquarius5264 I still want to support him for this work.
I respect that outlook - one day, I hope to do the same. Hope you're doing well, stranger.

Solaires Vista is fantastic. Its like you opened a whole new window to his character. Amazing.
This mixtape is perfect to listening to while reading gothic literature.

53:22 you really captured the essence of blighttown by synchronizing the background bass pulses with the average framerate

Northern Undead Asylum is my favorite
Bro, your style is immaculate. Thank you so much for making your music and sharing it with us.
Finally, an epic, large-scale mix of all of your great songs in one video !
i listen to this every time I'm doing homework

Thanks - very much appreciated!
Dark Souls is a work of art
Incredibly immersive and consistent with the original setting of the enviroment
Yoooo, holy shit. This deserves so much more attention!
well, hopefully it will get more ears on it - I only released the music earlier today, so we'll see!
I wish this was a mod so i could run it while playing the game
Just download it and listen while you play Dark Souls ya pleb lol
This is very interesting. I would not put this on while playing though. The absence of of music makes the game more immersive.
Listen carefully, skeleton.
17:04 New Londo Ruins is so unnerving..
I love it!

Great selection. Realy evokes the dark and weird mood of the series.
imagine this playing really silently in the background while you play...
TBH you don't have to imagine it, just turn off the in-game music and play this. 😄

It's a shame this doesn't have more views ! Incredible work.

New challenge run; Complete each area within time of each track.
brilliant album.
Thank you so much for this
It'd be awesome to see one of these for Demon's Souls, especially to think what Latria or the Valley of Defilement would sound like.
that would be pretty cool
I was looking for this! I love it!
Time to write
Fine work indeed and I wish they added some music accordingly with the areas itself
From Software needs to hire this person. Nuff' said.
