Wow, the exhibition looks amazing, congratulation! It's so nice to get a glimps into the process of putting it together. I really loved this video, thank's for making it. :)
ahh i was in edinburgh a few days after your exhibition, sad i missed it! it all looked so wonderful, really nicely put together. I still can't get over that willow basket, it's gorgeous! happy foraging :))
You are a brilliant talent! I love listening to your music as well. Sharon Kallis from BC Canada has a video on a hooded jacket she made from nettle and the different weave techniques to make it. I think you would enjoy it.
Just found your channel and am totally impressed! The love, time and passion involved is just amazing! You have talent in many areas. Thank you for sharing!
are u also in the exhibition in Ruthin craft center? they have baskets like this on show and it was very interesting to see different fibres.wonder if there are ur pieces there as well?
@2:30 Literally though-I slacked hardcore this year before I started weeding regularly, and the dandelions hit my lavender bushes like mad. Interesting as heck though because they seemed to prefer growing in those because they would use them as a sort of garden cloche/trellis (cage/supports) and grow INSANELY tall. I'm talking like up to my navel and I'm nearly 6 ft. Had to look around like wh---am I--are these fake dandel---... JAYSUS! Yeah, "who asked" moment but it was interesting aight
i would LOVE to find a nettle patch that big! U could keep the stems and I would use the leaves for dying! JUST WOW!
that would be so nicee!!
