Copium is hard in this one, people are mad cuz you need harmony mc for firefly to be viable, her kit doesn't has a break detonate like boothill and every single trace from her pushes a break build harder than tradicional crit one so unless the enemy is weakness broken state firefly deals 4* damage

HMC having super break mechanic which only HMC have and super break scale with BE and "toughness dmg" (i don't know what's called in English version), break dps having alot of that two stat which make HMC best choice for them
Every enemies have toughness bar and that toughness bar have some certain value (if this value = 0, enemies toughness bar will break), characters dmg skill have some "toughness dmg" which effect the toughness bar value. Both of those two stat didn't show ingame if i remember correctly. For ex: ice/fire bird have toughness value = 30, char normal attack have "toughness dmg" = 30, so any char use normal attack would able to break the bird toughness bar. Shovel boi from underground city have toughness value = 60 so any char using normal attack need to hit 2 times to break his toughness bar

defense down does indeed affect break damage (that's why they have given Firefly a bunch of defense ignore~) Ruan Mei's All-Res pen also benefits break damage.

bronya is completely useless if you don't have e1 firefly, not a good time managing skill points, you will have to sacrifice alot of turns on firefly's ult, and the damage buff does not affect her break damage.
@@Eclin idk about that, with all the showcases I've seen hmc gets his ult very easily if you skill once every 3 turn. Gallagher already spams basic attack so it won't be hard to achieve that team comp.
i think the discussion surrounding firefly and her kit along with HMC mechanic of superbreak itself is really because hsr decided to make a new mechanic(superbreak) and tied it to a char. i think the solution is to make superbreak a general mechanic that every char can possess but with different degree of viability and HMC kit should buff superbreak and firefly kit revolves around dealing break/superbreak so that firefly can at least dish out some big dmg without having to rely on hmc even if its free.

Except for destruction, both preservation and harmony mc is unique and there are no other characters of the same path having the same talent in their kit yet

All i can see from like the 30 ish video about her just in today. she is really fast( the fastest in destruction when on uptime) so her damage is consistant. she is a destruction that spend half her kit to be a some what tank and do blast, so dont expect her st is anywhere near boothill. Her blast break efficient is very good duo to high spd and nature of her mode, and truly universal cus she implant weakness. Number wise cant say for now cus she is on test version but its fine ( not great but fine, my jl only do like 200k ish. Ik that most of the damage come form hmc but you need to have a kit to utilize it in the first place and ff have the perfect kit for it.) + thing might change. Overall, i can see her as a first pick to start the game with, easy to use and can even scale into late game while do quite decent job at that+ she is generic. She is the type of unit to plop into the battlefield braw it out with the enemy and get it done, and do it without a dip in performance in any scenario. As the perfect philosophy of a destruction unit. (unlike boothill way of just speedrun stuff.) Overall for new account to mid range i would say 8/10, for old account imo a 7 cus you dont really need a general type of unit anymore. Like hunt are supposed to be better in st right? why does people want her to nuke as hard as bh.

@@thunderstormblake2973imo 7.5 if you are new mostly cus building her + a team is a hassle, she work fine in any content but that is 3 nihility you are building for 1 team (maybe 4 if we count substain) that aside from acheron you only typically run 1 per team. Acheron stat by itself is quit hard to get your hand onto when you are new, but still she hit really hard.
firefly is more like a support with maxed be build she can become dps with hybrid build with these stats t 109 speed,3300 atk, 64/120 cr cd, and 120 be e0s0. in this build even without breaking enemy she deal around 200k and when the enemy break she deal 300k with the help of hmc. but this build means you will ignore most of her kit advantage including the 40% penetration

It scales off of break effect the toughness damage of the atk in question as well as trailblazer's talent that increases the break damage depending on the number of targets in the fight
Firefly ignores 40% defense + has a lot of Break Effect. That's why for her it does so much damage. + the enemies are debuffed by Gallaher to make them take more dmg from breaks. Which I assume also makes the MC's super break do more dmg.
Asta may be her third best support, atk, spd and fire-dmg. If you can end the fight fast enough before the other characters start to get hit may be good. You could also swap Mei for Asta instead and keep Gallagher
For no sustain comps Bronya is better to give her more turns. Asta is an okay 4* if you don't have Ruan Mei, but you'd still be lacking a decent amount of break efficiency without her

Crit rate body, speed boots and fire/atk sphere, you end up having decent crit rate, 3400 atk with asta buff, always imprint fire weakness to make sure your asta uses only basic attack to generate sp and keep her buff 100% of time, at the same moment 360+ BE and the most important her speed, Sam in the ultimate form is 97+23( boots) + 50( primary combustion state) +53 (asta buff) +10% (ruan mei talent) +6% (new planar set) +12% (speed buff set on asta sadly for one turn) and that's above 250 speed with 0 secondary procs in relics... It may sound unreliable but I think this firefly easily can reach 5-6 turns per ult and deal both high super break and crit dmg while moving stupidly fast
@@LPScarlex why use Bronya when you have SP issues without e1 and insanely fast dps in your team, she is capable of 200+ speed without asta, super break do not scale with any of bronya buffs except atk from ult, so most of her buff potential will be useless in firefly team
Important breakpoints are 3,4k atk to maximize the Break Effect bonus from her major trace, 250% break effect at least for 30% def ignore, and 130 spd so you have at least 3 turns in Ultimate mode. The rest of your subs you can spend on more Break Effect to increase her Super Break damage. Also keep in mind fire dmg% orb will not increase her break damage
Serious question, why do people run vonwacq on ruan mei over penacony? Sure, she’s not ALWAYS in an ice team, but if you use technique and then penacony activates, isn’t that actively a loss of a turn off her buff?
Lets be honest, we all know she needs HTB the most because of super-break. And in my opinion that is indeed how she should be played like But now I wonder, since I don't have Ruan Mei how well she does if the Team is: Firefly, HTB, Boothill & Gallagher The way I imagine this team is that Boothill shreds the Toughness of the enemy so that firefly can break it so the enemy gets the debuff of her break
The problem I see with that duo is that you should fight physical or fire weakness enemies, because not sure you can implant double weakness in the same enemy, but well guess it doesn't matter much as long as someone breaks the enemy so everyone can super break, also if they release a similar break dps that implants their weakness but imaginary, hmc will go crazy, at least firefly helps gallagher
Maybe you could even go sustainless with that crazy amounts of toughness damage. Could replace Gallagher with Sparkle that only basic attack(the best SP generator in the game), and let the meme plays out.
it gives 6% speed, and if ur attacking a fire weakness enemy u get 40% BE. I think this rope will be universal even for harmony and sustain units, that 6% speed is crazy good.
2:11 I thought sam is immune to cc when in enhanced state, turns out she doesn't. this is pretty close to messed up if she didn't get hit again by the enemy to cleanse the cc
I think a way to change her kit to be a more reliable dps is adding a delay action whenever she attacks weakness broken enemies and a little more breakness efficiency for to not akways rely on ruan mei This way her dps is kind of focused on how many turns can she damage a weakness broken enemy Maybe increase damage on weakness broken enemies helps too
First of all: Thank for the good showcase! But this whole situation is still kinda concerns me. I realy like idea of MC and Firefly tied together and all of this, but isn't it a little bit too much? It's literally like ~130k on break once per quite long perioud of time (Ruan Mei make it even longer, honestly :D). Everything else it fully just Superbreak damage (and partially Ruan Mai too, but that's not the point now). If we could try to found counter argument here: "But wait, dude, what about DHIL without Sparkle, Acheron without Pela/Silverwolf, Junglie without action manupulators like Bronya/Sparkle!" It's all valid points but i could safely say that even without their "signature supports" all of this DD deals quite consistent damage and yes without this supports they feels kinda weird when you playing them, but they still performing pretty well (remember for example recent PvP with Doggo playing DHIL E0 + Bronya). Not to mention that for some of the DD like DHIL or Acheron eidolons allow you to simplify their team requirements and make them work almost with anybody. On the other hand for the Firefly... At least at current test-stage it looks like Super Break damage is ~>60% from all her damage and without MC DMG look really mid and seems like even eidolons doesn't solve that issue anyhow. And untill we will not get any other 5* support that will provide kinda similar to Super Break buff -> MC + Firefly = forever (:D) (but even after that she will be just tied to this 1 new support completly) P.S. Not to mention that overall "break enemies" idea could be countered by some enemies with "toughness bar lock", but it's comletly different story that's a problem for all break characters. But maybe i'm just blind an it all my imagination :D

Except for destruction, both preservation and harmony mc is unique and there are no other characters of the same path having the same talent in their kit yet

If they just added SB into FF's kit, it would make her a lot more flexible cuz she relies heavily on HMC
But im certain they'll consider adding this to her kit cuz beta testers and the community have started talking about it now
All i can see from like the 30 ish video about her just in today.
she is really fast( the fastest in destruction when on uptime) so her damage is consistant.
she is a destruction that spend half her kit to be a some what tank and do blast, so dont expect her st is anywhere near boothill.
Her blast break efficient is very good duo to high spd and nature of her mode, and truly universal cus she implant weakness.
Number wise cant say for now cus she is on test version but its fine ( not great but fine, my jl only do like 200k ish. Ik that most of the damage come form hmc but you need to have a kit to utilize it in the first place and ff have the perfect kit for it.) + thing might change.
Overall, i can see her as a first pick to start the game with, easy to use and can even scale into late game while do quite decent job at that+ she is generic.
She is the type of unit to plop into the battlefield braw it out with the enemy and get it done, and do it without a dip in performance in any scenario. As the perfect philosophy of a destruction unit. (unlike boothill way of just speedrun stuff.)
Overall for new account to mid range i would say 8/10, for old account imo a 7 cus you dont really need a general type of unit anymore.

@@ZuraJuraQuite abit of people actually although i wont denies the need hmc part but that is more people preference. Tho most of the issue that people say even with hmc and only do like an x amount while totally not counting her hit rate.
@@thunderstormblake2973imo 7.5 if you are new mostly cus building her + a team is a hassle, she work fine in any content but that is 3 nihility you are building for 1 team (maybe 4 if we count substain) that aside from acheron you only typically run 1 per team.
Acheron stat by itself is quit hard to get your hand onto when you are new, but still she hit really hard.

damn super break is so good
firefly is more like a support with maxed be build she can become dps with hybrid build with these stats t 109 speed,3300 atk, 64/120 cr cd, and 120 be e0s0. in this build even without breaking enemy she deal around 200k and when the enemy break she deal 300k with the help of hmc. but this build means you will ignore most of her kit advantage including the 40% penetration

(Да, в случае меты пробития Галлахер - лучший вариант, которого нельзя заменить и это благодаря его способностям, которые смахивают на 5★ персонажа)
how does the mc traillzer do so much super break dmg is it cuz it scales of break effect? or something else also helped it
It scales off break effect so all the characters here can output high numbers with it
It scales off of break effect the toughness damage of the atk in question as well as trailblazer's talent that increases the break damage depending on the number of targets in the fight
Firefly ignores 40% defense + has a lot of Break Effect. That's why for her it does so much damage.
+ the enemies are debuffed by Gallaher to make them take more dmg from breaks. Which I assume also makes the MC's super break do more dmg.

Is it possible to swap Gallaher to Asta and make your Firefly go above 250 speed its for sure unreachable for other units
Asta may be her third best support, atk, spd and fire-dmg. If you can end the fight fast enough before the other characters start to get hit may be good. You could also swap Mei for Asta instead and keep Gallagher
For no sustain comps Bronya is better to give her more turns. Asta is an okay 4* if you don't have Ruan Mei, but you'd still be lacking a decent amount of break efficiency without her

Crit rate body, speed boots and fire/atk sphere, you end up having decent crit rate, 3400 atk with asta buff, always imprint fire weakness to make sure your asta uses only basic attack to generate sp and keep her buff 100% of time, at the same moment 360+ BE and the most important her speed, Sam in the ultimate form is 97+23( boots) + 50( primary combustion state) +53 (asta buff) +10% (ruan mei talent) +6% (new planar set) +12% (speed buff set on asta sadly for one turn) and that's above 250 speed with 0 secondary procs in relics... It may sound unreliable but I think this firefly easily can reach 5-6 turns per ult and deal both high super break and crit dmg while moving stupidly fast
@@LPScarlex why use Bronya when you have SP issues without e1 and insanely fast dps in your team, she is capable of 200+ speed without asta, super break do not scale with any of bronya buffs except atk from ult, so most of her buff potential will be useless in firefly team
What stats and substats should be focused on for firefly’s artifacts?
Important breakpoints are 3,4k atk to maximize the Break Effect bonus from her major trace, 250% break effect at least for 30% def ignore, and 130 spd so you have at least 3 turns in Ultimate mode. The rest of your subs you can spend on more Break Effect to increase her Super Break damage. Also keep in mind fire dmg% orb will not increase her break damage

Serious question, why do people run vonwacq on ruan mei over penacony? Sure, she’s not ALWAYS in an ice team, but if you use technique and then penacony activates, isn’t that actively a loss of a turn off her buff?
Since Mei boost her team spd and not herself, vonwacq can be use to make her go first and use skill at the start of battle.
Lets be honest, we all know she needs HTB the most because of super-break. And in my opinion that is indeed how she should be played like
But now I wonder, since I don't have Ruan Mei how well she does if the Team is: Firefly, HTB, Boothill & Gallagher
The way I imagine this team is that Boothill shreds the Toughness of the enemy so that firefly can break it so the enemy gets the debuff of her break
The problem I see with that duo is that you should fight physical or fire weakness enemies, because not sure you can implant double weakness in the same enemy, but well guess it doesn't matter much as long as someone breaks the enemy so everyone can super break, also if they release a similar break dps that implants their weakness but imaginary, hmc will go crazy, at least firefly helps gallagher
you can break with boothill, then firefly helps with superbreaking, effevtively dual dps

Maybe you could even go sustainless with that crazy amounts of toughness damage. Could replace Gallagher with Sparkle that only basic attack(the best SP generator in the game), and let the meme plays out.

it gives 6% speed, and if ur attacking a fire weakness enemy u get 40% BE. I think this rope will be universal even for harmony and sustain units, that 6% speed is crazy good.

firefly still seems good but i rlly hope they add something like super break into her own kit so her dmg is more consistent and stuff
2:11 I thought sam is immune to cc when in enhanced state, turns out she doesn't. this is pretty close to messed up if she didn't get hit again by the enemy to cleanse the cc
I think a way to change her kit to be a more reliable dps is adding a delay action whenever she attacks weakness broken enemies and a little more breakness efficiency for to not akways rely on ruan mei
This way her dps is kind of focused on how many turns can she damage a weakness broken enemy
Maybe increase damage on weakness broken enemies helps too
It's similar to seele needing many turns to proc her resurgence
However there should be a set percentage for ff to proc delay so that she isn't entirely broken

But this whole situation is still kinda concerns me. I realy like idea of MC and Firefly tied together and all of this, but isn't it a little bit too much?
It's literally like ~130k on break once per quite long perioud of time (Ruan Mei make it even longer, honestly :D). Everything else it fully just Superbreak damage (and partially Ruan Mai too, but that's not the point now).
If we could try to found counter argument here: "But wait, dude, what about DHIL without Sparkle, Acheron without Pela/Silverwolf, Junglie without action manupulators like Bronya/Sparkle!"
It's all valid points but i could safely say that even without their "signature supports" all of this DD deals quite consistent damage and yes without this supports they feels kinda weird when you playing them, but they still performing pretty well (remember for example recent PvP with Doggo playing DHIL E0 + Bronya). Not to mention that for some of the DD like DHIL or Acheron eidolons allow you to simplify their team requirements and make them work almost with anybody.
On the other hand for the Firefly... At least at current test-stage it looks like Super Break damage is ~>60% from all her damage and without MC DMG look really mid and seems like even eidolons doesn't solve that issue anyhow. And untill we will not get any other 5* support that will provide kinda similar to Super Break buff -> MC + Firefly = forever (:D) (but even after that she will be just tied to this 1 new support completly)
P.S. Not to mention that overall "break enemies" idea could be countered by some enemies with "toughness bar lock", but it's comletly different story that's a problem for all break characters.
But maybe i'm just blind an it all my imagination :D
