When we apply Selfweight in Seismic Load, all defined members' (Column + Beams + Plate) weight is considered and included in analysis. Why do we need to add Member weight of Beams specifically for Seismic Loads? Isnt it that when we say Member Weight, it is additional weight of wall loads etc on beam. The same which is considered in DL ?
Pls go through code first. The maximum value of shear reinforcement diameter that can be used as per IS 456: 2000 is 12 mm but u selected it as 16 mm. See everybody can work on staad but the results will be erroneous when u give wrong inputs. Hope u understood.
please careful of this software, it gives result for linear elastic material which is crucial to understand. it means no matter if you increase load upto failure condition it will still work as no error. Before using it, mind the limits and it is better to use nonlinear analysis softwares.
