    Really enjoying your style of puppet making. I'm new to finding your channel but I've seen your work and am amazed by the way you create a non-sewn in head w/sock. I'm about to try my first one like that. I've made a few using Adam Kruetinger's free patterns, but I'm always trying to find better ways to do things. Appreciate you sharing so much with us. Do you still do live streamed puppet builds?

      We’ll stream at some point in the future I’m sure.

      Thanks! Which is your favorite? What do you want to see more of?

      @@SwazzleProductions I enjoyed the hands, yours are a little different than mine. Plus I loved the idea of the drill, so much easier than pliers.
      I'd love to see someone show me how to convert my patterns to a professional look. Maybe even learn how to make the patterns digital.

    Cool! I’ve only used a ladder or Henson stitch and done it with the fleece right side up and flush, this turned out really great though!

    How did you all come up with that technique? It is amazing

      It’s something that we learned from other puppet builders. That’s how most of these techniques are passed along.

    Wonderful video- very clear demonstration. Question- when sewing a curved dart that will lift off the table, how do you get the fleece height to align like demonstrated in the video?

      We usually work around a form that helps it keep its shape, like a hat form, a pice of foam or even our knee.

    This will help alot with fursuit making! Tysm for the tutorial:)
    Also, is it possible to use a blanket stitch instead of a whip stitch?

    • @SwazzleProductions
      @SwazzleProductions  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, it will! We have a few stitches that we use. I’m not familiar with a blanket stitch - can you describe it?

    • @dragopistachio
      @dragopistachio 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SwazzleProductions it's very similar to the whip stitch but you loop your thread while sewing. It's also called a cable stitch and crochet stitch
