Hey I appreciate that coming from you!!!! 🙏 🙏 I watched a few videos you did on the Spider Venom a while back and really appreciated the info- subbed just now so I don’t miss out on any more 🔥!
Another Good Job bro!!! It Looked jus Right when you wrapped it to finish, and there is nothing wrong with finishing in tha stove I have done it for years and it always turns out great. Thanks again for sharing your experience with us !!! Keep up the Good Work!!!
Hey thanks- I think I might a finished it in the Traeger if that’s what I cooked on (for ease) but definitely didn’t wanna waste anymore time/wood so I’m glad to know others use the oven as well!!! Also - thanks for always checking my videos out Steve!!
I just subscribed also where can I go to get a taco or at least a sandwich brother you work super hard on that and that pork looked amazing. Good work. Going back to the roots of barbecue
Hey! I appreciate it! I need to figure out how to get folks all this food haha- the fam eats it up before anyone else though!! Thanks for checking out the channel!!! 🙏
Opening the smoker causes a big drop in temperature, within seconds it will reach the ambient. While this won't really contribute to the stall, it will increase your overall cooking time, but as you dial it in will need to do so less.
Ya I usually use lighter fluid on the weeds- but not just because it was raining. It probably doesn’t help very much because the tumbleweeds catch pretty quickly anyways but a little squirt saves a couple of seconds and it definitely removed the potential rain barrier on this specific cook!
Haha for sure I also realized I’d chopped onions and totally forgot about those too… could always be better I guess haha! Thanks for checking the video out 🙏
@@BarbecueElementary No worries Brother. I’m Mexican. 😂 You should try making your own corn tortillas with a Mexican tortilla press. It’s pretty simple. Well worth it. There is a special Masa brand I use and I buy it at A Mexican Meat Market.
@@BarbecueElementary it’s a manual steel type press. Maybe I can send I link to the type I’m referring. 🦾🦾👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 You can make em while your cooking your meats. Or you can make em ahead of time and reheat the tortillas. 💯💯☝🏽
Awesome pit and great cook brother. Can't go wrong with any of Matt's recipes. Have fun learning bbq. I'll be following along learning with you.

@@greatjuankenobi217 I’m going to look at presses now- should I be looking for one that presses the dough before or while you’re cooking?

I’d rather temp dip over temp spikes.
