Muffat Prelude in D

Not every piece of organ music has to be long or spectacular; this organ prelude by Georg Muffat is a little gem. Muffat was a late 17th century composer and if you're thinking he sounds a bit like Händel, then you're right. Muffat's style was strongly influenced by Italian style and Händel admired Muffat's music, even to the point of actually ripping him off at one point.
