I recently beat 10 bosses in hardmode survival and i was rewarded with the Hero sword in the normal gamemode, and at 5 bosses i was awarded the Adventurers Goggles
The survival mode looks fun. Honestly, when I played the first Division, Survival was the best mode in that game and I spent most of my time doing that. Seems very similar, so I am looking forward to that.
Stopped playing after Leto dropped, but with all the updates and Survival Mode now I am soooo hyped to go back into the game. Thanks for getting all the important information out of the 3 hours video. Keep up the great work Vulkan!

Right. I was under the impression that they'd already announced they wouldn't be doing any DLC for this game, so this was a pleasant surprise. I've really enjoyed getting back into the game, and I haven't even bought the DLC yet.

@@clint4237 great question. I never even checked. Last week I heard about the DLC, got excited, and booted the game back up for the first time in months. Never even checked for the DLC, just jumped into playing and really enjoyed some of the QoLchanges I hadn't seen yet. I wouldn't be too terribly upset if we had to wait just a bit longer. it'll give me time to get deeper into my 2nd character's playthrough.

I didn't get a notice of your video just stared watching that stream which I came across but I don't have 3 hours to watch it so ty for the heads up video story mode and new gear and bosses sounds neat to me I will try survival but I'm sure it's going to be several runs before I finish because I am coming back to this and a bit rough around the edges so its going to be some getting used to the mechanics again
So what the guns/gear damage goes up with your character level? ie unlike in the story where we would level them up. Also, does your level reset if you take a break and close down Remnant? Or is it just the boss count?
I’m pretty sure for the survival mode everything resets when you close the game. It’s supposed to be a rouge like style game mode like the binding if Issac or Risk of Rain so it’s meant to be played as a see how far you can get in one sitting type deal.
The older dlc gives you corsus adventure mode and survival. You'll miss out on new weapons,traits, armour, trinkets and armour skins. I only got it recently and I'm enjoying it, loads of new stuff to unlock
If you like soulslike games and third person shooters, this should be right up your alley, completed the campaign 6 times and im just waiting for the new update to get back into it. It really is worth it
I just wish at the end of a survival run if you've killed more than a certain amount of bosses you could pick an item that you acquired in survival and bring it into the main game The one problem I have with revenant is that RNG seems like it's way too much
Slappy outside of generally enjoying the game yes. I like how they incentivise you to repeatedly play to earn things even after the game stops rewarding you. Just keeps you playing and enjoying for longer rather than be like “I did it, I’m done...next”

I understand the appeal of achievements, i also get all achievements in my favourite games, but i have never seen someone who would turn their back on a game if it lacked any achievements at all, so i was just generally curious
Not really enjoying survival. Enemies 2 shot you even if you are decked on armor and are 3+ levels above. The whole thing needs a massive nerf on enemy attacks and or speed.
I originally thought it was going to be a "run out of time, you die" timer. But I'm personally okay with the timer they out in there. Keeps things moving forward for me. But I can see how some folks might not like it. Appreciate the comment!
Remnant launched at 40$; I'd gladly pay 60$ because it earned that and then some. Paid DLC is perfectly reasonable especially since this DLC is made with effort not just a hat or skin bs.
We didn't forget it. Swamp was always meant to be a smaller experience in the main game because it is completely skippable. We rebuilt Swamp Adventure from the ground up to be more like the other biomes, but kept the story version short (because that was always the design). I'm sad you deleted it tho, it's really quite fun and there's a lot to see and experience!

I got remnant for 25 bucks and just got the dlc today this game is really worth it
