My favourite boss in entire game. No adds that usually spawn behind you, no stupid holes you always fall, no bullshit. Only she. The queen and her many distinct phases with lots of different attacks she performs. Not only visual warning but also sound before every attack. And on top of that she and her attacks are well designed with many colours in palette and one of the best soundtracks. All of this plus a secret alternative kill with different rewards only makes this boss a true masterpiece ❤️

For the charged dash attacks there is a way to tell the difference between the two. Normal: If she just crouches without anything fancy its a normal dash. Throw: If she twirls her weapon above her head before she crouches shes going to throw it. I am not 100% about this but from what I have seen it seems to be the case.

Also, the first boss that forced me to put on a defensive ring to limit elemental build up as corrosion is a bitch and I could not time the Thanos snap no matter how hard I tried. I resolved to just take that and trade damage whenever she did that. My personal tip is to fight her head on in phase 2. Keep the fight at medium to close range at all times. Fighting at range might seem like the strategy, but she covers ground so quickly that it really isn't to your advantage.
We just fought her a minute ago. Took us almost 2 h to get her down. After many attempts I figured out that the beginner long gun with that radiation spread is pretty useful against the Beatles. Primary is any weapon that is comfortable. That Letos amulet ( or that other amulet to reduce the encumbrance) rings are only HP andHP5 Regen increase. ( I forgot the names of them) In the close combat I swapped fast to the leech ring and that burden ring for crit. Also that amulet which increases the crit chance and dmg after charged melee hits. Melee weapon was the haul for its extra 100% stagger dmg. After multiple charge attacks she got down. It saves the hearts and potions. My teammates where dying frequently so I help me a lot the use the hearts for them. Also consider setting up that quick use for any corrosive stings. Since you ll get often corroded. It reduces the received dmg a lot. If there is anyone out there still fighting that awesome boss. I hope it helps u a bit. At the end for a gun I ll not even use but the fight is cool.😎 Now I just want to sleep 💤
Didn't end up watching this until now, after my best friend and I killed her twice. Was kinda fun learning all the tells, but...the dumb cricket Thanos snap. The time between the sound cue and the damage is pretty short. Felt like a genius when we figured out her wings glow for the side beams. Kind of weird how her second phase is waaaaaay easier.
For me is easier to kill the king that the queen. Me and two frienda killed the king in the first try. The queen took us like 10 attemps to finally kill her lol
If you’re using the slayer set then you might want to try sporebloom for the beetle phase, as it has great dps at close range and it’s damage cloud slows.
Why aren’t you taking damage from the acid floor? The entire floor gets covered and it’s almost instant death and yet you weren’t taking damage from that. WTF
Do I still get the trait if I go for the alternate kill? I don't really care about the weapon, just want the trait. I've been trying to kill her the regular way, but seriously, that second phase is ridiculous
maybe I'm just being salty, but I think this boss was put in for those people who complained that nothing in the game was hard enough. First off, no other boss requires specific tactics like shooting the head, or using DoTs because of the chest armor. This also renders my crit build with gambler's ring useless. Second, you have a half second warning to move when she flaps her wings to do the side poison waves, which can then immediately be followed up with Fracture as soon as the waves end. I have maxed vitality, Barkskin and Mother's Blessing and those waves kill me in less than a second. Is it possible to beat this? Absolutely. Is it poorly designed? Most definitely. I had more fun being one shot by literally anything in Stalker Misery than this.

How do you fight her exactly ? I have the DLC and i have already given heart of guardian to UK but she doesn't get triggered to be a boss fight. She still sit at the Corsus post as a merchant.
hi u have to re-roll the adventure mode Corsus and keep doing this till the very large tall pointy hut spawns in the swamp 😉 u dont go through any arrears ok the huts in the swamp arrear not far from where u spawn 😉 it's a pain as its randomly generated but just keep re-rolling it till it appears, when u spawn on Corsus the swamp look around with ur camera as u cant really miss it as it's a very large hut
Second phase wasn't too hard for me, seeing as I've rolled stuff from DS3 that's a lot faster and a lot stupider, but phase 1 tripped me up for a long time. She's tanky, those beetles she summons are annoying as all hell, that side wing charge seems to always come at the WORST time, and timing that beetle bomb is so hard when she weaves it in with other shit.
This is completely bananas, and I will *never* be good enough to complete this fight. =\ Maybe, maybe if I was playing on PC, mouse aiming makes everything 2000% easier than console. But probably not.
Absolutely disgusting fight. Nothing else in the game is this outright cheap or relies on I-frames. Her poison on the floor attack in Phase 1 isn’t even fucking telegraphed half the time. It just happens and you die. Wish I could refund DLC as this one was a waste of money and ruined all my enjoyment for the game

For the Beetles, I use the Richochet Rifle since it projectile bounces around and hits the Beetles up to 5 times before the projectile vanishes

You've probably beat by know but after the first phase, there's a spike you can shoot from the ceiling that will one shot her during the second phase.
